maybe the "sport quad" testers should go out into the muddiest woods they can find and see how heavy it gets after 6 or 7 miles in on a rough course and they find themselves stuck in a deep rut

I still LOVE my 400ex though...Honda's STILL my #1!

i mean dont get me wrong.
honda is in my top three.
i just feel that this is a dud.
this quad is going to be dead weight.
and i mean that literally.

and dead meat.
compared to other big bore contenders. i feel this quad is toast.
a little over 100 pounds over weight is a little much.

Same thing was said about Polaris, Can-am, and Arctic Cat. They are heavier than the big three, but can hold there own. Most new quads are over weight compared to the ones from the mid 80's. Suzuki 250 Quadracer or 230 Quad sport listed at 308 lbs.
Guess what I'm trying to say is don't judge it until someone on this forum throws a leg over it and give us an comparision.

So if the said smashing your fingers with an 8 pound sledge hammer would not hurt .you would believe that because they said so ?

i agree, you can't always believe what you read or what someone else says.....because everyone's opinions are different...what I think is good might not be what others think is good...

buttt.....it still weighs a lot. but. it is a pretty wheeler..........

i dont really care for the I.R.S. my self. And the back tires are to close to the front tire size. Allthough it's cool that it's a 700 though i wonder how big they will become??

Also remember that the 508 lbs is true weight , not dry weight. so it my be over wieght by not as much as we think.
