I don't think you should restrict the classifieds, there are not enough ads in there. Contests having a minimum post count would be a good idea, but it's not like there atons of people taking part in the contests anyway..you need to keep people coming to the site. Maybe make a small post minimum.

I would rather see people come to this forums for the great topics , not just a contest. Also the spam that has been in the classified , would be greatly cut back. If not elimanated.
