Default Can I fix these nerfs?

Well..got these nerfs for free with my bike so Id rather be able to fix these stupid nets than to buy new ones. The nets dont go under the shifter..every other nerf bars ive seen in person have..only these dont and i hate my foot being open when shifting. Its the same on both sides. Heres a pic

If you know how to weld aluminum then maybe.

Are you sure these were designed for your quad? You might be better off buying new ones and selling these.

Try eBay or Craigslist.

That is how mine are. I have AC Racing nerfs they are just like that. If the net went completely under the shifter you would have to sag the net to be able to get your foot under it. With the net sagging down you stand a chance of snagging it on a rock of log. I would like to see a picture of some that go completely under. Not questioning you, just never seen it.

I must have never really paid attention. I probably wouldn't like it due to the factor of getting my foot out from under my shifter and vise versa.

Ok,,,,,Im stupid when it comes to these things.......But I never did see a Picture of the Net under the Shifter....Just the Brake Lever.....am I correct in Assuming the net DOES go under the Shifter just because it goes under the Brake Lever????

The ones I have leave plenty of room to manuver your foot around the shifter yet cover enough to keep the foot from falling through. I love them, i've never snagged mine on anything.

i LOVE my nerfs, they've saved my life..but sometimes they do cause some problems...like that one race i somehow fell off to the side and got my leg stuck between the nerf and the tire and then got ran over......that hurt....but i guess thats what they make the heel guards for....

every now and then you'll snag something in the woods, but not too often for me not to want to use them. I'd never race without them.

heres one way of looking at it, about 2 years ago i was in a quad crash and the only thing that saved my left foot from being tour off was the nerf bar because my foot peg was bent back and tuching the frame and my foot was fine, the nerf bar was bent down and back so it saved my foot from going ripped off. so i would run with them
