Default cdi problem

I bought a new CDI from SRP with higher rev. and timing advanced ect. so the box wont work right until the motor gets warm does anyone have any solutions?

I would call the manufacture and ask them about it. Every CDI I have seen is plug and play. No problems.

I Went To The Track To Night Got The Bike Nice And Warm And Did 2 Laps Around A 3/4 Mile Track And Then It Started Spit And Sputter

Yep, that sounds like the CDI box is bad and fails under heat.

I never had much luck with the aftermarket CDI's on the YFZ. The stock one always worked the best and was the most reliable.
