if u had something like a 3 in 1 oil to put on your frame so it wont rust and at the same time it will not show, that would be good. but the down side paint wont stick to oil so then again.... well good luck!

Where do you need to cover? The frame above my pegs has been worn down to bare metal. Clean the metal, get any oil off and get some of this. Grip Tape It's a grip tape, comes in several colors. Will keep all the moisture off the metal. A plus for my needs was it helps keep your feet in place when in the air. When the insides of my boots grab it you're stuck. A plus for other needs on the frame is it will last longer than paint. Just as easy to replace if needed. Just scrape old sticker off, clean the metal and reapply.

For that, get some steel wool and rub the rust off. It's just superficial, then get some good clear coat. Put several layers on. It will chip off and wear away. Just reapply.
