My Yamaha Big Bear shifts through all the gears good, goes into reverse smoothly, but when i go to get out of reverse it takes a lot of effort to get it back to first gear, and even then it does not go very smoothly, have to pull up on the pedal really hard, anyone else ever had this problem. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Just bought a cheap moto4. Runs and rides great in low and high. Issue comes with trying reverse. Everything I read says foot brake on and in 1st gear. Then pull back into reverse. Nope. Not mine. I removed the safety wire on the brake because it wasn’t moving. Same issue without it. I put the quad into neutral and pulled hard and bam…..goes into reverse!! Then I stop and try to get into forwards and no luck. Stuck In reverse. Turn it off and try and the lever moves into low high and back down with ease. Start it up and same thing. Would really love some help with this one. Thanks in advance!

When my quad is shifted into reverse, the light on the speedometer doesn't come on. I've dug into the wiring and can't find anything other than it being a faulty switch. How do I get to this switch, is there a way to take it off without tearing it apart? I see that it may be accessible if I take off the air box but I am unsure of this. Thanks!

I'd like to throw some reverse lights on my 1988 moto4 350 and was wondering if any one knew which wires I would tap into to to do so. I tried tapping into a couple different wires at the reverse relay but all I could get was for them to come on once the ignition key was turned on. I know there's the light for the reverse indicator light but I'm not sure if that carries the amperage to do a couple 4" led work lights.
