Ok,,,,,dont look at my Messy Garage!!!!!!!!!

About a yr ago I had MetalTech build me a Swing arm for my 350X...I wanted something different...So I went with a +4 350X Swinger with a 86 ATC250R Carrier....Now the 86 carrier is about 20mm wider than the stock X but I was assured that they would be able to correct that. With everything bolted up the first time,,,the sprockets were about a 1/4 inch off...so I had to send it back...They Took the Sprocket hub and turned it down...Dammit! over on .org lives about 10 min. away from this shop in AZ....He took his X over there and they did a test fit before they sent it back....Im crossing my fingers here.....Because this has never been done before(lots of people said that I couldnt) For that reason and the KEWL factor I want it to work... :eusa_doh:

For the Axle I got the Durablue 2+2 in the hopes that I can make up the difference Side to side...If everything goes right there should only be about 7mm difference.....

Since I put my Marvin Shaw Hill Shooter on,,,, the Front Suspension is Lacking too....So,,,,I thought I would correct that with some Progressive Suspension... :eusa_dance:

Wish me luck :eusa_pray:

Starting this build thread to keep up with everything on my build and hope to motivate someone!

I picked up this 2008 Yamaha Big Bear 250 2 weeks ago. A guy that I hunt with parked it at the hunt club for a year or so before I asked him if he wanted to sell. He said " fill my feeder and throw some batteries in my cameras, and you can have it". Sounds like a deal to me!
I have attached some pictures of how it sat under a tarp in the woods and when I got it home and cleaned up a little.

Quad can turn very tightly to the left but very wide to the right.  On inspection, when turning right, the pitman arm hits the EPS controller - it doesn't when turning left.  The quad had been rolled (prior owner) and the steering was straightened.  I believe that the pitman arm is now slightly offset.  Can I disconnect the tie-rods from the pitman arm and then remove and reattach the pitman arm in a more centered position, and then reattach and adjust the tie-rods?  Or is the pitman arm not adjustable since there is a grove that it must align with on the EPS?  If not the method I suggest, how would a person fix the issue?  Would the entire steering system need to be taken apart and reassembled?
      Thanks very much!
      Phil.
