My cousin needs help with his Baja Extreme 300 please someone help
Ok My Cousin got his Baja Extreme 300 about 1 year ago, it ran if you jumped it, so we got a new battery. then it still needed jumped, so we just ignored it and kept jumping it. then it just stopped one day. so we needed to charge it for a couple hours then jumped it and it ran for about 100 yards then just died, and it wouldn't start again, i tryed starting it and it didn't even try, it made no noise at all, so my cousin had to push it all the way back to his house, so someone please tell me what you think is wrong with it.
And the 2nd Thing i need to ask is what is the Baja Extreme 300 closest related to cause i think it's a generic brand atv.Cause he wants to buy some after market ATV parts and plastic for it.
Cause my friend's Dad may be able to fix it and i want to know what's wrong with it first

Have you changed the battery? Sounds like the battery is not holding a charge, which is very possible. It's only a year old, most likely it's a bad battery.

Hey buddy, i got the same problem as you its NOT the battery and the charge it drains itself because of not enough power to run it, it could possibly be leaking onto 2 red wires with a plastic cap in the middle, that's your fuse, if that's broken from the acid you need to replace the connectors and fuse. jump starting it is hard on the atv so careful how you do it. Also if you haven't already, clean your gas tank it has debris in there from the plastic shavings and gets clogged in your fuel filter so flush the tank (have an experienced person help you) and replace the filter (Wal-mart $10 doesn't have to be the same) Next be careful with the fuel on/res/off valve it will break off after extended use, that might also have crap in it. if u have a dad/relative/friend who is good with Suzuki engines have them take a look and clear it out, it should run perfectly after that. Good Luck
Oh and btw. Since its a Suzuki 4stroke 300cc engine you can buy aftermarket parts, just consult a dealer before you purchase said parts.

hey raptor i have the same kind of atv like that and yes...that has happened to me too. but i had figured its not the battery or the starter it's the fuse by the battery becuz i was riding and then i had shut it off then went to start and i got nuthin so i pushed a back home a quarter mile away and i tried the fuse and next thing i knew it was running fine and still is :) if that doesnt work then i dont know wat to tell'ya. and ive hasd mine for two years
