We're Looking For Forum Moderators.

Recommended Posts

We are currently looking to add some forum moderators to QuadCRAZY. Some of our moderators have left and/or are not getting it done.

MWKE is the only active moderator that we have and we really appreciate his help here at QuadCRAZY. He is a huge asset to the forums and is on here every day. With his help and some of our previous moderators, we have been able to grow the forum section of this site.

What we are looking for:

Members that will be active at least a few times a week in the forums to moderate a section of their choice or even a new section that they would like. They are responsible for monitoring that section, adding relevent content, and keeping it going.

As the moderator of that category(s), you will be the ring leader and responsible for keeping order.

We are now reaching the milestone of 1000 members. We want to add some more to the forum and get it going on a consistent basis for our members. Behind the scenes, we are still working on changing the layout slightly but along with that, we need some key member's help!

If you would like to be considered for this, please reply to this post. If you are a moderator on another forum, please let us know.

Thank You

Still looking?

Sorry folks, this was an old thead from last year, June to be exact. It should have been closed. We are not currently looking for any moderators. Sorry for the confusion.

Since this thread was started, we have added some new moderators in the community. They have been invaluable and we appreciate all of their hard work. Our current list of moderators can be seen on the right side of the forum home page and also listed under each forum.

Thread CLOSED.

      Hi Guys!

New member and could really use your advice. I would have to believe this has been an issue for others but a search here came up with nothing......? (Probably me not doing search correctly)

      I have an 87 Big Bear 350 YFM350FWT
The OEM Mikuni BTM carb is shot and would rather replace than rebuild.
It is no longer made and I have had good luck with NICHE carbs so I ordered a #K-CRB-0006 This was what they said was replacement when ordered. This Carb only uses 1 Throttle cable. The Slide is linked so it uses one. (OEM had 2nd cable coming through top to move slide)

Problem is when I ordered a replacement Cable from NICHE (#C-CBL-0061) the Cable wire is a little short, not allowing Throttle to return all the way down to Idle position. I called NICHE and they are at a loss. Haven't gotten back to me after 2+ weeks.

What would you recommend other than a carb rebuild?
Can I just use 1 of the OEM cables (It is the right length) and snip/disconnect the other that went to top of Carb for Slide?
      Or ??

Thanks in advance for any advice you have!!

      Dave

I have been exploring all the options available, so many, its hard to choose. I have kind of narrowed it down to the Honda Pilot, Subaru Outback, and Kind of looking at the Outlander, although its a little small,  the new one is nice looking. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations or gripes with any of these rides. I have driven Jeeps for the past 25  years and they have been great, but their price point has gotten to high. Expieriences good or bad would be helpful. Thanks!

This is something I'm extremely curious about. Has anyone ever attempted to buy a quad (or any other vehicle) from an impound lot? I've always wondered if this could be a bargain, or a waste of time. Google searches do turn up some helpful results. Looks like the state of NJ holds auctions online which I'd be a bit hesitant about.

My online searches haven't really turned up any results of anyone buying an ATV this way. I'd be really curious if anyone tried this, or knows someone who has. I've actually found a couple pages with online auctions for my state, but none had ATVs.

      Hey all!
I'm on a mission to buy my first UTV soundbar as a gift for my dad(a newbie on ATV). I'm aiming for something that offers great sound quality without breaking the bank – my budget is around $250. Right now, I'm considering options like ecoxgear, kemimoto, and boss.
Does anyone have experience with these brands or specific models that you'd recommend? Any advice or suggestions would be super appreciated!
