Jetting Specs

THIS IS DRIVING ME INSANE AND I HAVENT EVEN GOT IT YET,

i dont know what i will have to rejet to after i put the intake and CDI on.

will these items come with jetting specs?

if i call a shop can they help me find out which jets to run?

k there is a local dealership and ill call them when i get the stuff and ask about jetting..

What Intake???? Usually a Pipe will come with Jetting Specs......A shop will point you in the Right Direction but Dialing it in will be up to you..You will have to find it if you have the time....But I have posted several times on here a VERY good Website on Jetting......Do a Search......:yes:

whats a plug chop?

yep 2 smoker baby.

Start out with a NEW PLUG......

Fire it up,,,,,,,Haul Ass(Wide Open) Through about 3rd Gear....Pull in Clutch and Kill it.....Coast to Stop.....Pull Plug,,,,,Read it......Then you will be able to tell if you need to Rejet.....

When I put the Pro Circuit pipe on the CR, we didn't have to rejet. It just opened it up like crazy.

Never tried with an Auto.....

Try starting out with a Fresh Plug....Run it Wide Open for about 300 Ft. then Kill it.....

Pull and Read.....

bot your right.....Sometimes you dont have to......I just always like to read the Plug and see.....:yes:

Whats cheaper, breaking into a plug to see how the bike is running or replace the piston 3 times in one month because it was running too lean? I need to learn to let go.

but like...i dont know what size to buy?

i have to buy the individual jets and they coem in sizes, how do i know how many sizes bigger i need?
