Polaris RANGER RZR takes 2008 Racing Season by Storm

Jagged X, Eichner and Yokley win series

Minneapolis, October 31, 2008 – The Polaris RANGER RZR continues to be a force by impressively taking the Best in the Desert, WORCS and GNCC racing championships for 2008.

“Polaris Racing is very excited to have three series championships for 2008,” said Eric Nault, race team manager for Polaris. “The side-by-side race teams did an awesome job with their RANGER RZRs, and we’re convinced their dedication will result in many more championships.”

Jagged X and their No. 1919 RANGER RZR took their second Best in the Desert Points Championship by winning their fourth race in a row in the series. They sealed the championship in the sixth out of the seventh race, at the Golden West Cycle LV 150 where pilots Brandon Schueler and Blake Van de Loo started in fifth position. After only 11 miles The Jagged X team had made their way to second position where they would stay for the larger part of the race and took the lead to finish first. The No. 1919 leads the class scoring an impressive 440 points to the second place finisher’s 292 points.

Howdy y'all, I'm trying to fix a neighbors 2015 Brute Force 300. Came in with hard to start and won't idle except on choke issue. I pulled the carb and found the pilot jet as well as the emulsion tube partially clogged. Cleaned up everything, put it back together, still having issues...  It will start right up on choke and will also start off choke if you give it just a touch of throttle but it absolutely will not idle unless it's choked just a touch. Also, excuse my ignorance but I'm assuming the "dial" thingy attached to the carb that turns in and out is for setting idle??

So we are almost a month into winter and I've been so busy working on my house that up until today, I didn't realize that we just haven;t gotten any real snow yet to warrant putting the plow on my grizzly. So that got me thinking, what are the latest plows out there and what ATV plows are the best? I've got 2 snow plows for my grizzly, a quadboss pile driver atv plow set up and a snowsport ATV plow. They are both a bit dated now and I tend to stick with the snowsport due to ease of use and I just like it so much. So if you have a plow on your ATV, please let us know what it is and post a picture with your atv/plow would be awesome. Would also like to know what you like and dislike about it.
This is back a while when I did a write up on these 2 plows.... in 2009 I got the snowsport and in 2012 I got the quadboss.

polaris 2008 50 outlaw automatic: got the 50 for free. would only run with chock on, replaced the carburator with new. I can't get the unit to an idle where the machine doesn't move forward. if I do get it to idle down within a few moments it will die. got something to try?
