Im trying to figure out the timing on my Honda CDI ignition. Do quads have the same set-up? Can anyone steer me in the right direction? Thanks again.

What year is your machine? I moved your thread and added the issue into your thread title. I removed your email that you posted also. Replies/help you can get from this thread. If your looking for people to email you, this thread will be dead and removed. Serves no purpose on starting it.

Good luck, someone should be able to help you.

Its got spark, fuel, and 125psi comppression test. I should have told the history. Spark advance mechanisum blew apart. The hole on the cam was egged out. I changed the cam, spark advance, and the plate with the block on it. I think its a timing problem. Im ready to give up. Bruce

Here is an old friend of mines site....this is a link to the Manual for your trike.....

http://honda350x.com/manuals/Honda%20200ES%20Big%20Red%201984%20CD.pdf

Go to section 3 of this manual . You will have to pull the stator cover off and find your timing inspection plug ..... basically line your "T" mark up on the crank and on the cam side you will have a "V" shaped notch above the cam sprocket ..... the sprocket will be stamped with an "O" , line these up .

Hope this helps...

It turned out to be a bad spark advance I bought from a guy on E-bay that came from a "running machine". Thanks for the help. Bruce
