Default Flexx Handlebar System

Anyone using this?

The Flexx Handlebar System (Patent # 6,860,500) is designed to absorb shock and vibration that is transferred to your hands, arms, elbows and shoulders. The design was originally intended to absorb catastrophic impacts for instance casing a jump or hitting a large “g-out.” The reality of the system’s performance is a massive reduction in shock and abuse transferred to the rider throughout all types of terrain. The Flexx Handlebar System offers a controlled, consistent flex that is tunable through different density elastomers*. The result: greater control and less abuse.

Dramatically reduces vibration due to the aluminum (material of the handlebar) to rubber (elastomer) interference.
The absorbing action of the Flexx Handlebar results in less abuse transferred to the rider, depleting arm pump and fatigue.
By articulating only in the same plane as the suspension the Flexx System absorbs square edge bumps, rocks, whoops, g-outs and hard landings without sacrificing control.
Tunable elastomers absorb abuse typically transferred to your upper body.

I know a lot of pro GNCC racers that won't ride with out them. At 300 bucks for a set of bars, you won't see them on my ride anytime soon. (unless they are handed to me)

my friend is sposored by them. he loves them, but the price is outrageous. if he ever snaps ir bends a pair they send him another pair free of charge. idk if this rule applies to ppl who dont have them as sponsors. but unless i find a deal on them ill stick to my pro-tapers.

All I can say is when you start adding moving parts where there shouldn't be, something is bound to go wrong. I have been on one machine with them. I did not see a big enough difference to justify buying them.

Exactly, maybe if I rode with them for a long period of time I would see the difference. But like you said, Pro-Taper does the job just fine.

Great feedback. I was curious about the product. Saw the add in the magazine.

I can't see spending that amount. Unless it's a REAL comfort improver.

I really want to get some of those bars. I am running a riser set up and its such an improvement over the stock bars! My riding is very fast technical riding so its nice to have some absorption.

I'd like to ride a quad with those on it, to see how they are. I wonder if they are worth it. Too much $$!
