I believe the laws vary by state. Some state laws do not restrict the number of passengers you can put on an ATV. So, should you choose to ride double, you must do so at your own risk. :D

All I know is that CA Banned 2 people on Any ATV along time ago....However,, when they came out with the Duel User Quads they are Legal Also,,,,I ride alot in Oregon,,,There you can Ride as many as you want...:)

Maybe because these are Designed for 2 it is legal....
