What is the best winch for the price?

Recommended Posts

I have a Yamaha Rhino and am looking to buy a winch, it will be used mostly for plowing to lift and lower the blade and on occasion if i get stuck, I have looked at the Warn and know they are a good winch but they are so expensive is there any other winch out there that will compete with the Warn but at a more reasonable price?

Go to Tractor Supply or Rural King and buy a winch. They are tuff and are affordable. Here is the link for Tracto Supply ,Champion Power Equipment™ 4500 lb. Pulling Capacity Winch - 1830254 | Tractor Supply Company

Here is the link for Rural King,

Grip Tools 3000 lb 12 Volt Electric ATV Winch 28770 America's Farm & Home Store

I own the Grip winch pictured. It is a hundred times better than my 2500 lbs warn winch was.

I got the 3000lb Champion from Tractor Suppy for 100.00 bucks (it was on sale) It works great. This weekend I had to pull a neighbors Kawaski up and over and through - It pulled him and a dogwood about 30 feet straight up and over some rough terrain. She grunted but she didnt stop pullin. I was very impressed. I've used it very little since I got it but It's hard to get my Eiger stuck where I ride. It goes just about anywhere I want. I would recommend the Champion. 4 sure.

      Hey all!
I'm on a mission to buy my first UTV soundbar as a gift for my dad(a newbie on ATV). I'm aiming for something that offers great sound quality without breaking the bank – my budget is around $250. Right now, I'm considering options like ecoxgear, kemimoto, and boss.
Does anyone have experience with these brands or specific models that you'd recommend? Any advice or suggestions would be super appreciated!

I added more fresh gas it sat one day now, it's acting up again. Before cleaning out carburetor it wouldn't idle good and had gas leaks from carburetor. Now it idles pretty good but, if I increase throttle speed at a certain amount it starts missing bad. I'm going to try and post a short video. Just about ready to give up on this thing.😒  you can see reflection perking in video.

Hello folks, my machine wound up with I think water in the tank etc. It runs but speeds up and slows back down randomly. When not running I don't see gas dripping  from the drain nipple on bottom of float bowl and drain screw is closed tight. With normal idle speed I see no leaking. When the idle speed increases quite a bit on it's own, gas appears to start slowly dripping from float bowl drain nipple? I'm wondering if the carb is flooding and the gas is actually coming from higher up and just appears, to be coming out of nipple but, is actually running down the sides of the nipple? I put a kit in the factory Mikuni carb last year after sitting for a while and I think the gas in the jug I used had drawn moisture. I plan to pull the carb tomorrow and clean everything out. I was just curious if anyone else thinks it's probably something in the carb and is, acutally a flooding problem? Thanks Folks! 🙂

So here where I live in Newfoundland Canada, they let you drive your bike on the road provided it’s registered and insured same goes for crossing highways but on trails you don’t need to be insured. And I don’t even think you need a full license to insure your bike they said it was up to the insurance company. I’m trying to get my old 1985 Suzuki 250 registered they have to do a search for it to make sure it hasn’t been in anyone else’s name first. Hopefully it comes back clean I am pretty excited
