Ya theres some great trails around Ottis/sandisfield/tolland area. Theres a place referred to as the "green bridge" in that area on rt. 8. Thats where mostly everyone parks and theres a green bridge to cross the river and get onto the trails. Thats mainly where I do my riding because I have some land up there and I can get to all those trails from my spot.

Theres also some good trails in the October mountain area.

Tolland is kind of "off-limits." The DCR highly recommends not riding there, and if anybody gets caught on the trails that aren't part of the park (like the pipeline), the place may get closed down for good.

Pittsfield is awesome. You can ride all day and have fun there. Great variety.

Beartown is tough and tight. Lots of rocks and narrow trails. Good fun though...very technical...

Haven't been to October Mountain yet...plan to go over the summer...

green bridge off limits??? Its state riding lands. If people are worried about getting caught then why would 25+ trucks be parked there on the weekends right on the main rd.?

Yea, theres tons of trails that go all into ottis and sandisfield. I've never heard that you can't be there. Maybe some parts of the pipeline are off limits, but other then that its all ridable.

Plus its marked with tons of signs especially snowmobile ones.

I'd stay off the pipeline. The people I talk to (the people who actually saved Tolland from being shut down this season) are really stressing that we need to stay off the pipeline to keep the other trails open.
