Title says it all. When I researched part it shows it does not exist anymore, discontinued. What can I do to stop the leak? Is there somewhere else I should be looking for part? The leak is coming from where shifter goes through seal, not around outside of seal between case and seal. Thanks.

How is it changing these? The manual elaborates on measurements and cautions about damaging the seal if its mis-aligned.

New problem. I wanted to change the fluid in my front hubs only to find that there wasn't any fluid in them but full of grease instead. Pulled the hub apart and found the hub seals are missing. I ordered Part # 3610019 that was listed for my model. They are too big. They measure 3.258in across and my hubs measure 3.10in. I was baffled. I can only assume that someone in the last 12 years replaced the hubs. They are Polaris hubs though. I have checked through several years and models and all I have seen list the same part number. Anyone have any ideas on this or happen to know a seal part number with that measurement? The rotor hole is the same as the hub. This is a 4x4 with Hilliard Clutch. Thanks for your input.

Good morning. I have had this 2000 KingQuad since new - it has 2500 miles/hours on it. it appears that the front out put shaft yoke seal is leaking does anyone have any experience in replacing this seal and O-rings as described in the service manual? Also, can it be removed and replaced WITHOUT disassembly of the engine?

hey guys, i am new to the forums but could use a little help. i am trying to change the seal where the drive shaft enters the front differetial on my 2012 polaris sportsman. i am under the impression that all i need to do is knock out the roll pin on the saft and the whole assembly will slide back so i can get to that seal. is this correct? i have taken off my wheel and given the pin a few whacks using a punch and it hasnt budged. i even tried using some WD40 with the same results. am i doing something wrong or is it just being stubborn? any suggestions to make my life a little easier. there isnt a lot of room down there to work with a hammer with my shock there. any help for a noobie would be greatly appreciated.

I replaced the rear output shaft seal a year ago and it's leaking badly again. They are a pain to do because of the yoke being bolted to the shaft and the nut behind it. Has anybody seen this happen routinely to know if there may be something contributing to it like a bushing worn out on the output shaft that allows play? Also, any helpful hints as to how to get the nut off easier? Thank you.

I have a 2003 Arctic Cat 500 Green automatic. I have just put in the third seal in the front where the drive line goes into the rear end. Put it together spun the tires, while it was up on the stand and no leakage. Took it out for 1/2 mile test ride and I'll be dammed if it wasn't leaking again when I got back. First time I replaced the seal I didn't use OEM. So I ordered two seals from Arctic Cat and Hubby replaced the second one. He isn't as mechanical as I am so thought he messed up. I spent 3 hours on replacing it this time. Made sure all parts were cleaned and fit good. Now it is leaking again. Am I missing something here? Is there a vent for the rear end that may be plugged and causing excess pressure to make the gear grease run out around the inside of the seal? I am open for suggestions.

:skeptic:I own a TRX500FA Honda Foreman Rubicon 2002. My son stuck a corn stalk into the front drive shaft oil seal. The shaft that comes out of the front of the motor, going to the front drive axle. I need to know what my options are to replacing it. The seal is ruined. Do I need to tear down the lower unit of the motor to replace the seal or does the drive shaft seperte. Please let me know. Or if anybody knows where I can download a repair manual of the web, or email me one that would be great. Not really wanting to purchase one. I will if I absolutely need to. Any Info would be greatly appreciated. Thxs. WeekEndWarrior.
