&nb sp; It's been awhile since I've been in here... Hope everyone I've met here had a good holiday and are feeling well and getting to ride.
&nb sp; We finally got to go on a ride last Sunday for a few hours and check out the new riding area/trails they have been working on.... Pretty cool but they have a long ways to go to get the trails all in. We also took a ride up to the helicopter landing pad to play in the snow but there were too many people up there drinking and shooting at the pad so we hit the roads and played on them as much as we could.
&nb sp; Anyways... I did take a few pics and uploaded them to my gallery. Check 'em out if'n y'all like...
Hope everyone is well...

Soooooo... twas the yearly Birthday party/campout for my spousal unit(Sweetpea) and our friend Lindsey the weekend of the 12th. Their B-day's are only a day apart so we started doin' them together which is cool... David n' Lindsey are really great people. Location for said party was kinda up in the air this year though due to a few obstacles.. squatters for one, campin' on one of the spots we liked, and the campground we usually used was locked this year so we didn't have access to that and that really sucked cuz that was an ideal spot.
&nb sp; It turned out good though. We had 4 tents this year stayin'a couple of days and about 20 or 25 people showed for the party on Saturday afternoon/evening(We tapped the keg and started early on Friday..heheheh).
We didn't do alot of riding bein's we started early and were basically too buzzed to it, lol... so, no injuries thank God. What riding we did do was fun. We are going to make it up to Marion Lakes though eventually...lmao. We've tried twice now and had bike issues in one form or another both times.. a busted chain on one trip and a flat on the second. I'm thinkin' it's a sign but hey.. third times a charm (knock on wood).
&nb sp; If'n anyones readin' this, I'm workin' on downloading pics from said party/campout and a couple of Sweetpeas quad with the new nerfs & bumper on... oh yeah, and as soon as I return the gear and get the right size, maybe a couple oy Lindz in her cute new ridin' gear we got her.
Happy Trails, y'all...

Wheeeeeeeee.. I finally got my quad back together. I installed a new steering stem, tie rods, rear hubs, handlebars & a new bumper bein's I saved so much mony shoopin' on ebay (you should try it... it is kick ass cheap for prices). Hopefully I got the toe-in correct on the front end.. the front is supposed to be a little over 1/2" tighter than the back of the tires so... should prove interesting, lol.
Anyway.... I did find more things I wanna do to it... powdercoat the frame, switch to the newer plastics('05 or '06), and upgrade to TRX450 shocks (greta upgrade & they will fit), my spousal unit just groans and rolls her eyes but ot makes it worth more when I go to sell it and get me a TRX450... goose bumplies, heh.
So.. this is my baby so far...
Woohooo.... I've got the front end of my quad torn apart and I'm waitin' for my parts. The new steering stem comes in tomorrow(bent thet crap outta mine), the new hubs will be here next week(busted studs off in the same wreck) and somewhere in the middle I am gonna pick up some new handlebars.
Not sure which way ta' go on the handlebars though. Traditional 7/8" bars or the 1 1/8" bars. I'm kinda wantin' somethin' different this time and wanna' go with the 1 1/8" for the flex value. Either way they're gonna be Renthals. I'm gettin' anxious....

It's going to be a long weekend but it'll be worth the wait. Our 9th anniversary is on the 14th but it's a Wednesday so on the 16th we are going out and are gonna have some fun . Then On the 17th I got us tickets to the Bob Seger concert wich is waaaay cool cuz that is who we listened to when we got together... he plays "our" songs , and finally on Sunday we are hittin' Sand Lake with our friends and are gonna tear it up!! YAAAAAAAAAY!!!, lol Guess the big bowl has quite a lip at the top so it's gonna be air time instead of searching for a spot to launch from. Wooohoooooooooooooooooooooo!!  &nb sp;

I'm bummed.... well, not too bummed. We got to go riding this Sunday but it wasn't at Sand Lake like we had planned . We ended up going up CrookedFinger Rd. and riding with some good friends. While we were up there we re-made plans to hit the sand this next weekend but I think those are gonna be out cuz it's Stupidbowl weekend, lol. I can understand that though... but it would make more sense to watch it if the Steelers were playin.. Oh well, I got a few good pics and another for the "Wall Of Shame" (it wasn't me this time!). lmao... Anyway... hopefully we'll getta' sling some sand on this Sunday -Crusty-
Warp 9 wheel Assembly's... heads up guys n' gals
I purchased a Warp 9 wheel assembly for my 2000 CR250R last August through an online company for $350 (good price).... upon receiving my assembly I inspected it and noticed that they had not included the wheel spacers as advertised. Upon further inspection I found they had sent the sprocket for a Yamaha instead of a Honda. I contacted the company I ordered it through who promptly contacted Warp 9 and assured me it would be taken care of. It has been 4 months since this and Warp 9 has chosen to ignore the problem. Since then I ordered the spacers from someone else and instaled my Renthal sprocket.. so for what it is worth people, beware in ordering the products from this company... their shipping dept. and customer service are desperatly lacking.

Guess I'm outta commission for awile... Doc says no riding, no work.. no nothing . I work at a local window manufacturer at a glass cutting table and got myself inbetween one of my cutters and a glass cullet(dumpster) as he threw a piece of scrap away and it caught me in the eye/head. It sux cuz we were goin' ridin' this weekend. I enclosed a pic of the aftermath of my accident... it took 47 stitches to close the wound from inside to out. Wheeeeeeee!!!!
