    • I was able to get out today and pole the silencer off. It didn't seem to get as read. The top-end has a soft light ticking since I've adjusted the valves. I read this is normal is this correct. But for some reason it seems to run the best when I have the air fuel mixture screw all the way in, I have already bought a rebuild kit. The only thing I didn't get was the air/fuel screw but it came with a new rubber seal and washer for it. And the other thing the spark plug wire gets so hot it feels like it may melt. When I have the air fuel screw turned 13/4 out it spits and sputters when i put it in gear and let the clutch out
    • Well done. The bikes as much apart in the years yet still look close in style.
    • Sorry I was working all day give me a little bit and I will try and help you sort it out.  If you look at the photo with the diagram it shows a ETC switch and an AWD switch. The ETC matches the color code wires  you mentioned and goes back to the hub safety switch. I would start by tracing the wires from the handlebars and work your way down to the controller and the to the hub solenoids.
    • That’s great, nice work. Ride safe.
    • Thanks man, the compression release was the problem. Took it out and reinstalled it and it no longer has that problem. Good thing i took care of it because the ball was starting to wear the exhaust rocker, no scoring or anything just a slight color change from rubbing. Thanks again, hopefully there will be no other problems
