	Здравствуйте, нужна помощь по ремонту багги Arctic Cat 700 EFI, пропала искра, датчик коленвала импульс есть, Самодиагностика показывает две ошибки AC99,AC96. все провода проверил на целостность, все датчики блоком определяются, не включается топливный насос. Провода от ECU до реле насоса и от реле до насоса исправны. Поставил подменный ECU, ничего не изменилось.   <a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" href="https://www.quadcrazy.com/uploads/monthly_2026_05/image.png.79d06020e0fe0dd9f67625f2916488f7.png" data-fileid="10865" data-fileext="png" rel=""><img class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" data-fileid="10865" data-ratio="177.78" width="450" alt="image.thumb.png.d81bf05f5996012bad6a80dc02d42b79.png" data-src="https://www.quadcrazy.com/uploads/monthly_2026_05/image.thumb.png.d81bf05f5996012bad6a80dc02d42b79.png" src="https://www.quadcrazy.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></a><a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" href="https://www.quadcrazy.com/uploads/monthly_2026_05/image.png.6e469098e65003466d6df649c202791b.png" data-fileid="10864" data-fileext="png" rel=""><img class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" data-fileid="10864" data-ratio="56.25" width="800" alt="image.thumb.png.3f2d71d126b695532969afad12141fe4.png" data-src="https://www.quadcrazy.com/uploads/monthly_2026_05/image.thumb.png.3f2d71d126b695532969afad12141fe4.png" src="https://www.quadcrazy.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></a><a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" href="https://www.quadcrazy.com/uploads/monthly_2026_05/image.png.ec25e4bcf6a80ea243e5a390d7a59efd.png" data-fileid="10863" data-fileext="png" rel=""><img class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" data-fileid="10863" data-ratio="56.25" width="800" alt="image.thumb.png.4a0b7c4df26f5cc2273d69d3261a6360.png" data-src="https://www.quadcrazy.com/uploads/monthly_2026_05/image.thumb.png.4a0b7c4df26f5cc2273d69d3261a6360.png" src="https://www.quadcrazy.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></a>

	Background,
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#191500;font-size:14px;">
	This winter (Dec.) I was plowing and everything just died, just quit.  No lights, no pull start, No nothing.  <b>I've had this problem before</b><span> </span>and I changed the voltage reg and it ran fine for over a year. Then this.  So I changed it again, thinking this was the same problem.  Tried to start it and a small pin hole in the CDI appeared with electrical smoke.
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#191500;font-size:14px;">
	Months go by and I finally decide to just replace parts (I'm Horrible at electrical issues).  I changed the stator, new CDI, new Voltage reg, new starter solenoid, tested the starter (prefect), charged the <a href='https://motosport.sjv.io/KBKGax' class='notreplace' title='battery' target='_blank' style="text-decoration:underline;" rel='nofollow'>battery</a>.
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#191500;font-size:14px;">
	Went to start it and the solenoid rapidly clicked.  All the dash lights on, headlights work.  Pull stared it and it fired right up no issues.  Looked into the rapidly clicking starter solenoid and it was not enough juice in the <a href='https://motosport.sjv.io/KBKGax' class='notreplace' title='battery' target='_blank' style="text-decoration:underline;" rel='nofollow'>battery</a>.  Took the <a href='https://motosport.sjv.io/KBKGax' class='notreplace' title='battery' target='_blank' style="text-decoration:underline;" rel='nofollow'>battery</a> completely out and hooked up a jump box to it turned the key, <a href='https://kemimoto.sjv.io/DKXLzn' class='notreplace' title='' target='_blank' style="text-decoration:underline;" rel='nofollow'>light</a> on, everything looks good.  Pushed the starter button and it fired right up ran great.  Turned it off to test it again, Turned the key and nothing.  No dash lights nothing.  Took the jump box off and pulled started it.  Started it right up.  Re-hooked the jump box, still nothing.
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#191500;font-size:14px;">
	Any Ideas?

	I rebuilt the <abbr title="Carburetor"><abbr title="Carburetor">carb</abbr></abbr> on said machine. When I hook up the auxiliary gas tank it runs fine and everything is cool. When I put the fuel tank on and hooked up the lines, it completely flooded the cylinder and even about an inch of fuel in the air box. I'm pretty sure that it comes from the little hose on the petcock and hooks to the top of the <abbr title="Carburetor"><abbr title="Carburetor">carb</abbr></abbr>. WTH is that even for? I mean the thing runs fine on the auxiliary tank, so idk And on the petcock when it's in the "on" position, I get no fuel. The petcock from the bike I took it apart and checked out how it operates. The sharpie marks indicate how it really works. Now the other petcock w/o the sharpie marks is an old one that was leaking that I removed from a <a href='https://www.quadcrazy.com/atv-magazine/atv-news-and-articles/discover-the-thrills-of-the-outdoors-with-polaris-adventures-program-r103/' class='notreplace' title='' target='_blank' style="text-decoration:underline;" rel='nofollow'>Polaris</a> quad. It's exactly the same thing, except the small hose and nipple have been removed. I'm so confused, LOL

	There are 2 relays and 2 diodes in the fuse box. Could one of those cause my problem?

	Had fire start in muffler due to failing fuel pump &amp;/or fuel pressure regulator.  Must I spend the $750+ for a new assembly from Arctic Cat?!?  Here's what I've tried so far.
</p>

<ul style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#383a3b;font-size:15px;">
	<li>
		Replaced fuel pump &amp; regulator - both from Quantum.
	</li>
	<li>
		PSI is 60 rather than the 42 the dealer advises it should be, so problem persists.
		<ul>
			<li>
				 <em>I've now twice replaced the Quantum regulator &amp; discussed w/ Quantum.</em>
			</li>
			<li>
				<em>They advise that they don't have an alternative regulator that would bring PSI down to 42.</em>
			</li>
		</ul>
	</li>
	<li>
		I've tried several in-line, adjustable pressure regulators but they either didn't work or I couldn't get a constant pressure from them.
		<ul>
			<li>
				<em>FYI, I've only tried the adjustable regulators for Fuel Injected engines however, it seems<span> </span><em>that they require vacuum to function properly. </em></em>
			</li>
		</ul>
	</li>
</ul>

<p>
	<span style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#383a3b;font-size:15px;">When I can temporarily get the PSI right, everything works great.  Anyone else ever dealt with this problem, and, if so how did you fix it?  Perhaps I should adapt the fuel system to include a gas tank return line?</span>
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#383a3b;font-size:15px;">
	Any insights are greatly appreciated, Don

	Have a 1998 AC 300 2x4, Just installed a new carburetor. Engine starts easy but the choke RPMs are very hi and take along time (5-10 mins when cold out). After engine has warmed up choke releases and it idles and runs fine., It does no have an electric choke. The choke lever is never used and it seems like an auto choke? Long story short, how can I lower the choke rpm levels?
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Also, <abbr title="Carburetor">carb</abbr> came with a spare145 jet, not 100% sure what is installed. Could this impact choke RPMs?

	I have a 2016 Arctic Cat 500 and recently noticed some oil leaking on the engine block to the right of the oil filter. It's near two metal lines going in and out of the engine block. I think one of the lines is called an engine oil line. I have a photo I'm going to try and attach. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to start tearing into the engine if I don't have to. I think maybe a gasket or something blew around one of these lines. The <abbr title="All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV)">ATV</abbr> runs fine otherwise. Doesn't overheat or anything.

	Ok so I'm back lol
</p>

<p>
	I got two arctic cat 300s that I am either trying to make one of the two or if possible I'll get them both running. I have a good start but I am struggling to find a <a href='https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=510988&u=1459573&m=49176&urllink=www.emanualonline.com/powersports.htm&afftrack=contentlink' class='notreplace' title='' target='_blank' style="text-decoration:underline;" rel='nofollow'>wiring</a> diagram that actually shows the connections.
</p>

<p>
	Both bikes were tore apart and some <a href='https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=510988&u=1459573&m=49176&urllink=www.emanualonline.com/powersports.htm&afftrack=contentlink' class='notreplace' title='' target='_blank' style="text-decoration:underline;" rel='nofollow'>wiring</a> was spliced and all screwed up so I have been tracing wires and redoing the connections.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	On one bike I have a neutral <a href='https://kemimoto.sjv.io/DKXLzn' class='notreplace' title='' target='_blank' style="text-decoration:underline;" rel='nofollow'>light</a> and it will let the use e start to turn starter motor, thing is on that bike the motor is stuck engaged so when I pull the pull cord it's turning the starter motor as well.
</p>

<p>
	On the other bike it is free and works as it should but I can't get the neutral indicator <a href='https://kemimoto.sjv.io/DKXLzn' class='notreplace' title='' target='_blank' style="text-decoration:underline;" rel='nofollow'>light</a> to come on. Or any for that matter. I have been going through the fuses which all have power as well as the e start switch.
</p>

<p>
	I'm wondering if anyone has come across some similar issues, I am checking the neutral switch tonight, I have been checking the <a href='https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=510988&u=1459573&m=49176&urllink=www.emanualonline.com/powersports.htm&afftrack=contentlink' class='notreplace' title='' target='_blank' style="text-decoration:underline;" rel='nofollow'>wiring</a> and comparing it to the bike that is working (in that sense) but both bikes are missing some things
</p>

<p>
	I'm wondering if it is a better option to pull the good motor out and rebuild it then put it into the bike with the indicator lights working. But on that bike all the bushings and linkages are toast so there's a lot of work to either bike. I'd like to at least get the engine to fire up before I invest too much energy into swapping motors.
</p>

<p>
	So if anyone has some info or can send me in the direction of a good <a href='https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=510988&u=1459573&m=49176&urllink=www.emanualonline.com/powersports.htm&afftrack=contentlink' class='notreplace' title='' target='_blank' style="text-decoration:underline;" rel='nofollow'>wiring</a> diagram it would be much appreciated. Our poor old red 300 won't start. We rode it, running fine, shut it off and now it won't start. Have gas to the carb and spark at the plug. Valves are adjusted. Still won't start. Tried a little starting fluid in the air chamber and still won't start. This poor old machine has 7000 miles on it. That has to be an Arctic Cat record! And I have never touched the engine besides setting the valves. Unfortunatly it looks like it only has 60 psi of compression. Don't understand how it could be running fine and then nothing. Hi Everyone!

<p>

	<span style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;font-size:16px;">Hello everyone,</span><br style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;font-size:16px;" />
	<br style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;font-size:16px;" />
	<span style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;font-size:16px;">I have a 2019 Arctic Cat Alterra 570 XT EPS - 558 miles and probably under 80 hours. I have had it since July 2022, and it has already run into a few issues. Mid-winter we discovered the drive belt slipping, and when we opened the clutch <a href='https://motosport.sjv.io/qWDv5y' class='notreplace' title='cover' target='_blank' style="text-decoration:underline;" rel='nofollow'>cover</a>, the belt housing was full of oil. We cleaned the entire compartment and the components, then replaced the seal behind the primary clutch and the belt. After this, the machine worked perfectly up till about a month ago. The same issue came up. We discovered more oil in the belt housing but much worse this time. The belt and clutches were throwing the oil out of the air intake duct on the left side of the clutch case housing. We repeated the same steps as before and replaced the seal behind the primary clutch (neither time, was there any indication that the secondary clutch seal was leaking, so we haven't touched that one) but realized that after putting it back together the clutch housing started a loud growling noise when the gas was pushed. We narrowed that down to possibly being the clutches losing their lubrication because the only thing we did differently than before, was clean the components with gasoline versus Brak-leen we used last time. The gas most likely ate all of the lubrication out. We used Blaster Dry Lube Advanced with Teflan and sprayed it into the Movable Drive Face and Damper. Once the <a href='https://motosport.sjv.io/qWDv5y' class='notreplace' title='cover' target='_blank' style="text-decoration:underline;" rel='nofollow'>cover</a> was placed back on, and test drove, the sound was immensely quieter. But the RPMs have been running extremely high still (about 5000 going about 8 MPH). And once the machine sat for a few minutes, and we rode it again, the sound came back, just as loud as before if not louder.</span><br style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;font-size:16px;" />
	<br style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;font-size:16px;" />
	<span style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;font-size:16px;">Does anyone have experience with this type of situation? Any ideas of what we should do? We would like to avoid the dealership, as the warranty has already run out, and we have experienced friends that can help, but currently, we are all at a loss.</span>

	I have a 2017 Alterra 500 TRV and get conflicting info from the manuals.  The operators <a href='https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=88607&awinaffid=2039923&clickref5=customlinks&ued=https://www.emanualonline.com/powersports/atv.htm' class='notreplace' title='manual' target='_blank' style="text-decoration:underline;" rel='nofollow'>manual</a> refers to 5 settings on the shock for adjustment.  The <a href='https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=88607&awinaffid=2039923&clickref5=customlinks&ued=https://www.emanualonline.com/powersports/atv.htm' class='notreplace' title='service manual' target='_blank' style="text-decoration:underline;" rel='nofollow'>service manual</a> makes no mention of this.  Which is right?  If adjustable do you need a special spanner to adjust?

	I have a 2017 Alterra 500 TRV,  <a href='https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=88607&awinaffid=2039923&clickref5=customlinks&ued=https://www.emanualonline.com/powersports/atv.htm' class='notreplace' title='manual' target='_blank' style="text-decoration:underline;" rel='nofollow'>manual</a> says 0w-40 oil should be used.  I have read that Rotella T-6 meets all the standards that the OEM oil does but I can only seem to find the 5W-40 unless I buy a 5 Gallon pail...lol.  Can I use the 5w-40?  OR just stop being a cheap SOB and suck it up and spend the $85 for the OEM kit?
