Hatfield McCoy Trail System GPS Maps (West Virginia)

Recommended Posts

I've completed a set of custom trail maps for the Hatfield McCoy Trail system. These maps can be uploaded to your Garmin GPS receivers. These maps can be also installed into your existing Mapsource software for upload to your GPS unit or can be directly uploaded to your GPS reciever with software included with the maps package.

Now you can know where you are on the trail, where the parking lot is, which roads are near by and even which trail intersection is coming up.

This map installer is designed to integrate into an existing copy of Garmin's MapSource. Included is SendMap, a program that allows you to load the maps to your GPS without having MapSource installed. For more info about these maps go to

2019 Textron Wildcat Trail Service Manual
This Textron Off Road Service Manual contains service, maintenance, and troubleshooting information for the 2019 Wildcat Trail. The complete manual is designed to aid service personnel in service-oriented applications. This manual is divided into sections. Each section covers a specific vehicle component or system and, in addition to the standard service procedures, includes disassembling, inspecting, and assembling instructions. When using this manual as a guide, the technician should use discretion as to how much disassembly is needed to correct any given condition. This service manual is designed primarily for use by an CatMaster Basic Level technician. The procedures found in this manual are of varying difficulty, and certain service procedures in this manual require one or more special tools to be completed. The technician should use sound judgment when determining which procedures can be completed based on their skill level and access to appropriate special tools.

I was looking on Amazon for something and came across this prime video and I started watching it.

Not bad but I've seen better on youtube with today's gopros. The one thing I like is that the guy is talking while riding and shooting the video. He must have a good mic in his helmet because it makes for more interesting time watching than just watching someone riding on trails. The guys narrating and explaining things. I looked on youtube and its there also...
How it became a prime video on amazon, I don't know...lol.

For the past two weeks i've been looking for places to ride in Oakland County Michigan and have found nothing so this weekend I couldn't take it anymore and said fuck it, loaded up my fourwheeler and made the trip to rose city by my lonesome to visit Ogemaw Sport and Trail which is an orv campsite that has a mx track, an intermediate mx track, some odd number of trails which lead into michigans state orv trails and of course camping. Unfortunately I did not get to camp I only had time to stay for one day but I will be making future trips there every weekend if possible and am already planning a camping trip with some of the awesome people that i met there. I recommend this trip to everyone because it has endless opportunities to have fun and enjoy riding with some good fun seeking people.

Found this system and have tried it on my quad (and bikes) had to mod the mount a little to fit my wider bars but that was simple with some aluminum flat stock adding 2" to each side. Simple wiring and all in one unit so did not have to bury an amp....loaded it up with music and also use my bluetooth on phone...wanted to share....its on ebay under firehousetechnology . wanted to share will post more as I ride more but so far so good and simple addition! They are on facebook also under firehouse technology if you wanted to see what they posted
Here is video link to there initial post and video

It just sucks when your ATV goes missing and you can't find it, right? Hopefully you just forgot where you parked it! Now if someone took off with your ATV, that's a problem. You may never find it again and it'll be sold to someone with the VIN scraped off and you are out of luck. If it's worth some money you probably insured it, so good job and notify the authorities immediately. However, nowadays with the way mobile and GPS technology works, you can just equip it with a tracker (some newer ATVs are coming with GPS built in) so that if the day comes that someone makes off with it, you'll find your ATV and the thieves!
We looked around to see what technology exists out there and found the SPOT Trace! This unit retails for $119.95 and sells for around $99.99 online. We found it on Amazon for $97.99! Plus...you can get 50% off!

Does anyone use GPS, whether on a device or app to record their ATV trail rides? I have been thinking about a section where our members can upload let's say a .gpx file and share their rides on a google map for others to see where there are riding areas. Not sure if this is something of interest or how much it would be used, so just trying to get an idea.
Importing routes from files like xml, lmx, tour, freshroute, gpx, kmz, kml
