Confirm the year on your wheeler before ordering parts!

Recommended Posts

Here is an issue we see often at the shop!

In this video, Robyn explains how to confirm the year of an ATV using the VIN.

It is important to confirm the ATV model year as this is a commonly mistaken characteristic that is often essential to order the correct part.

Each VIN consists of 17 characters. The 10th character will help you identify the machine year. To do so, compare it with the chart available on our website: https://resurgencesmallengine.com/machine-identification

Picked this beauty up for zero dollars this weekend. It has been passed around several of my son's friends and the last kid was just tired of tinkering with it.  Mostly complete 96 300FW. The pic is my boy robbing the swing arm and rear diff for his 300 for a big memorial weekend ride. Wiring is garbage at the battery, kick start doesnt work, no coil, smoked like cheech and chong when it ran last. I figure a couple hundred and a few hours and this will be ready to ride. Journey will be documented on Instagram at @martincyclellc if ya wanna follow along.

I think my rear brakes are stuck.  Is these parts in the right position?  Any idea how I repair?  I have to give it more gas to go and I can't push it when it's in neutral.

My bear big fires up with the pull start fairly easy. My electric start worked fine but now doesn’t even try. I bought a new battery and the same. The odd thing is, when I start it up at times, the neutral or reverse light will light up at times... depending on if it’s in neutral or reverse of course... wondering if anyone knows where I should replace?
