Is there a magnet on the outside of the rotor/flywheel that works in conjunction with the pick up coil.  Or is it a different type of metal that changes the impedance to have the pickup coil do it's thing?  I'd assume that most othe Yamaha's use a similar operation.  Thanks,  Don't see anything about it in the service manual.  Don't see anyway to adjust the gap between the pickup coil and the flywheel.

Have a 2000 Yamaha Grizzly YFM600FWA with no spark.  Checked the troubleshooting chart, and all checks were within specs.  CDI has part # 5GT-00  F8T36071.  Friend has a 1998 Grizzly 600 but his CDI part # is 4WV-00  F8t34671.  Are they the same?  Thinking about taking my CDI and put it on his ATV and find out if it works, but don't want to damage something if not interchangeable.  Thanks

Been working on a Grizzly 600 with no spark.  Went through the troubleshooting chart and everything checks out within tolerance.  Anyone ever heard of the magnet for the pulse coil going bad?  Changed out the Pulse coil even though the one in there passed resistance check.  Have 44 vrms coming out of the source coil but only 1/2 vrms out of the pulse (at cranking speed).  Is that enough to fire the CDI?

I am looking for a new set of front and rear brake pads for my 08 grizzly 660.
I usually go with EBC,they had good performance in my atv but went for a rest after 18,000 miles.
I think $40 per a pair is expensive. So this time I want to have cheap brake pads replacement like Foreverun Motor.
Have you heard this brand before ? Any good or bad reviews ?Thank you.
