aight.. it'll be a bit, I'm at work till 7 so it'll be dark but I should be able to get enough light on it.. this specific model the bodies were the same on the Timberwolves, bear trackers and wolverines.. but if I'm not mistaken, bear trackers only came in 2wd, this bike is 4wd so that should rule out bear trackers.. I hope.. lol.. and yes, waiting on parts sucks but well worth it.. if I'm off and I know the parts will be in, I sit outside and wait on the mail lady antsy as hell.. lol

Wowwwwwwee that’s great.  Looks exactly like my bear tracker. But I don’t know if they make that in a 4x4. The 350   That’s a nice set of projects.   Do you have all the parts? plastics racks etc ? And more importantly the manuals ? I’m hoping you have everything and seeing them come back together will be cool and also rewarding.

Do you have a budget in mind or a spending limit ? eBay  will be a big help on some used parts for whatever your missing.

Good luck and any questions you might have I’m sure myself as well as many others here at Quadcrazy can help you out.

I don't believe they made the bear tracker in 4x4.. but the bear tracker, timberwolf and wolverine of these models were identical.. and it was several years they all looked identical.. that's why it's so hard to tell what it is or the year model.. and yes, both bikes are complete except the mystery bike is missing the pull cord assembly and if the big bear had a factory winch, it's missing but if it didn't come with a winch then it's 100% complete.. no manuals for the big bear, but haven't checked the mystery bike yet.. I'm gonna go out on a limb tho and say it's gone.. lol.. but I'm gonna get new ones for both.. and it's gonna be very awesome seeing them revived considering they haven't been ran in close to 9 years.. they've just been sitting up in a grassy tomb.. as far as a budget, I didn't really wanna be over 1500 to 2000 because if I ever decided to sell them, that's about all I would get out of them.. but considering I got both together for 200 bucks, I should be well under that mark.. and I always use eBay for just about everything.. that's where I've gotten all the parts for the bear so far and found the hotshot performance cdi for it.. thanks, and hopefully I can be of help to yall one day and return the favor..

Hello I’m new here and was wondering is anyone knew of good replacement part numbers for front struts and rear shocks for this atv? I think I’ve found a new rear shock, that looks like the original but there is no dimensions or anything and was wondering if there are any afterMarket new front struts available. I know it’s a long shot but any help would be appreciated.

1996 4x4 Timberwolf rearend width. Can someone with some knowledge of these machines answer this question for me please. Are all 4x4 timberwolves this narrow in the rearend? These tires are so close the right one actually rubs the muffler.  Thinking about seeing if there are any spacers out there for it. I need at least an inch more clearance.

      Hi Guys!

New member and could really use your advice. I would have to believe this has been an issue for others but a search here came up with nothing......? (Probably me not doing search correctly)

      I have an 87 Big Bear 350 YFM350FWT
The OEM Mikuni BTM carb is shot and would rather replace than rebuild.
It is no longer made and I have had good luck with NICHE carbs so I ordered a #K-CRB-0006 This was what they said was replacement when ordered. This Carb only uses 1 Throttle cable. The Slide is linked so it uses one. (OEM had 2nd cable coming through top to move slide)

Problem is when I ordered a replacement Cable from NICHE (#C-CBL-0061) the Cable wire is a little short, not allowing Throttle to return all the way down to Idle position. I called NICHE and they are at a loss. Haven't gotten back to me after 2+ weeks.

What would you recommend other than a carb rebuild?
Can I just use 1 of the OEM cables (It is the right length) and snip/disconnect the other that went to top of Carb for Slide?
      Or ??

Thanks in advance for any advice you have!!

I have been exploring all the options available, so many, its hard to choose. I have kind of narrowed it down to the Honda Pilot, Subaru Outback, and Kind of looking at the Outlander, although its a little small,  the new one is nice looking. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations or gripes with any of these rides. I have driven Jeeps for the past 25  years and they have been great, but their price point has gotten to high. Expieriences good or bad would be helpful. Thanks!
