Having problem with getting into neutral have to do it by hand to get into reverse keeps skipping into 2nd is there a adjustment I can do I'm new to this

Did you or anyone else make any clutch adjustments? So from reverse it jumps into second?

I am having the same issue.  I have an LTF230 that sat out this winter and it will shift between first and fifth gear, but will no longer go from first to neutral, it feels like there is something blocking the shifter. Since it won't go into neutral, I cannot start it. I've tried rocking the machine and shifting while moving it forward/backward and shifting as the motor/crankshaft is turning but nothing seems to work.  I don't want to pull apart the transmission as that could get complicated real quick... Any hints?

Actually I was just trying to start it in 5th gear; not neutral.  Shifting pattern got me!  Started right up.

It's always a good idea to read the owners manuals..haha.

Some quads start in gear if the brake light is on.
