What people were saying in 1957

Interesting to read what the thought process was only 63 years ago. Might be BS according to some of the posts on reddit. This was actually posted 15 years ago and making its rounds again...lol.

This video  of BMW  engines being  manufactured in China very well  illustrates where  all  the  unskilled repetitive  jobs  have gone, and  why  they're not coming  back in America  or anywhere  else.  What  BMW  has  done   in  China  is  being repeated  by every  industry  everywhere. If it  can be  automated, it will  be and except  for  a  handful of  operators the only  people  employed  by those businesses  will  be  tradesmen maintaining  the robots.
Education  and trades training is  far  more important today  than it  has  ever  been.

I purchased the manual - the 98-02 manual in the downloads section is not correct - the manual on that link is for 2003+

I purchased and downloaded it, but it exceeds the 100mb threshold for me to share with the forum, so please advise how you would like to proceed - i can link you to my Google drive and if you have the capability to upload it or whatever.

Helping my Father-in-Law get his 1987 (I think) Big Bear 350 running so he can sell it. I can't get it into neutral (or don't know how) so I can pressure wash it before starting repairs. See photo. Clutch is hard to operate. I clicked down on the shift pedal to what I think is 1st then pulled up one click, but it's still in gear. The brake drum is stuck and the electrical system needs tracing out.
How can I get it in neutral or just get the wheels rolling?
