Hello from NC ladies and gents. Been lurking here off and on and don't think I have ever posted up.
I have a 2009 Honda Rubicon. I was having a shifting problem with the Hondamatic. Determined it to be a loose connection on the gray 21 pin connector at the control unit (ECM/PCM). I located a source for the connector and replaced it. This improved the connectors feel greatly, HOWEVER, even though I thought I was careful transferring the wires/pins from the old connector to the new connector, I must have crossed up a couple wires because now the gear position display (switch is new) no longer works. It worked fine before the connector change.
No matter where I have looked, I cannot find a "pin out" for the ECM connectors. The factory service manual does not show it and I have a connection at a dealer and their service techs don't have the pin out either! I was a Chrysler/Plymouth/ Dodge tech in another life and cant imagine th factory not providing pin out diagrams for diagnostics!
I am at a loss unless I either replace the harness, OR find someone that can take multiple photos of the wires going into the gray connector so I can compare mine.
Any help or advice would be appreciated. I will also post up the location I found the connectors if that is allowed, since it seems that they fail with some age.
We have Vintage and modern Sport-bike Motorcycle Wiring Harness electrical Connectors, These connectors are purchase directly from the manufacturer, And in many cases the OEM Supplier, The terminals and connectors are superior quality. Most are Manufactured in the, Japan, USA or Europe. Bullet... www.cycleterminal.com

Hi im new to the site. I have a 99 sportsman 500. I has been sitting for about a year now. I bought a new battery for it the other day and now i dont have any power to anything but the winch. Any help would be great. I already cut the pouch and checked voltage on both sides of the circuit breaker.

Ok, another newbie post here. Checking this stuff out in issues with lost compression. Wondering if anyone can tell by the pics and video of the cam is good, and whether you can see anything visibly with the valves and timing gear.
Any input would be a great help. Been researching youtube videos, but just not sure.
2000 Bayou 220
I could test the exhaust, it looked like it was opening, closing and seating ok, but not sure about the intake.
CAM - looks like some wear on the outer ridges on both in spots, and one lobe to me looks kind of weird, but I don't know.

Well this is my first time tearing down an ATV. Have done a little work on 2 stroke's in the past, but not much. I'm needing some help. I've got a Bayou that has lost compression. I tested it, and it was like at 40psi. I had already set the timing on it, and it does have spark fuel, etc...
My question is about the cylinder. To me it looks pretty toasted, but need some help in determining. It is a 2000 Kawasaki Bayou 220. I bought it not running, just to see if I can get it running so it has not ran since I bought it. This question is about the cylinder, and part 2 I have will be about the CAM.
Any advice / help is greatly appreciated.
Inside sleeve a line(left line) runs the length that I can feel with my fingernail. The line on the right I can't feel.
Some rust it looks like on these two pictures.

last year I bought led lights when I was riding my 4 wheeler the lights started getting dim shut off
now my 4 wheeler will not start the battery is hot everything is dead I checked the fuse and its good
would there be another fuse I am missing I'm took the led bulbs out and replaced them with the ones that was in there
wonder what meh problem is
I recently acquired 1994 Bayou 220 (leaks oil, leaks gas). Beginning by cleaning carb. When I took the float bowl off, the brass overflow tube is not straight (see image). I am not sure if this is "right" or was damaged/modified at some point (although I can't image why). I have looked for an image or drawing that would show this clearly with no luck. Should this tube be straight vertical; and if so, should I attempt to straighten it, replace it, or leave it be (not sure if this would effect the required float level setting as the end of the tube sits just a little lower at the angle). Prob putting too much thought into this, but any info would help!

I have a Kawasaki bayou 220 that won’t start I don’t know if it has something to do with the electrical wires but when I put the screwdriver on both bolts of the relay it wants to crank but can’t and there’s a missing piece I think it’s another relay that has 6 wires going into it
