This f_ing bull shit must f_ing stop... If the authorities can not find these worthless f_ing assholes then we as a ATV Community MUST come together and find these worthless assholes and place them inside the pokey for as long as they continue to breathe!

Story:

Blind pony may have been dragged to death

Friday, May 02, 2008

By Linda Wilson Fuoco, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Kahlua was a sweet pony who gently carried children on his back and was always the first in his pasture to trot up to and greet visitors.

On Wednesday his owner was horrified to find the blind pony dead in his pasture in Shenango Township, Mercer County. Large pieces of skin were missing from both back legs, and a bone in one hind leg was broken.

"We think he was hit by a vehicle or roped and dragged," said Renee Dorogy, humane agent for the Humane Society of Mercer County. "There are tire tracks in the pasture, we think from an ATV."

Ms. Dorogy held a press conference today to announce that $500 has been donated as a reward for information about the incident.

Four other horses in the pasture were not injured, though they have some cuts and scratches. Their owner, Tory Morgan of Sharon, believes they were spooked and ran away from whoever brought a vehicle into the pasture.

"But Kahlua was blind," Ms. Dorogy said. "He wouldn't have seen what was coming. And he was very sweet. He always went up to people."

Kahlua is a breed known as POA -- Pony of the Americas. The breed was started in 1954, when a Shetland pony stallion was bred to an Arab/Appaloosa mare. Kahlua was 10 years old and Ms. Dorogy described his color as "pale champagne, almost white."

The number to call with information is 724-981-5445.

IF YOU LIVE IN THE VICINITY OF SHENANGO, PA, MERCER COUNTY... KEEP YOUR EARS OPEN AND IF YOU GET ANY SORT OF TIPS OF SOMEONE USING ATV'S INORDER TO KILL KHALUA A 10 YEAR OLD BLIND PONY, TAKE IT TO THE POLICE AND GET THESE WORTHLESS ASSHOLES OFF OF THE STREETS

God does this PISS ME OFF! If this were the 1860's then these peices of shit would not be breathing one more second, if it were up to me!

oh my gosh, I just used everything I have to fight back the tears....it made me think of the horses I had when I was a kid, poor pony.

People who are cruel to animals should be tortured just as bad. Or worse.:no::realmad::frown::smackbum::cry:

What time of Day was this???? Daytime???? I need to figure out how to clean/fix or replace my neutral switch assembly On my 2008 Yamaha big bear 400 as generally the neutral light doesn’t come on when it is in neutral. To get it to come on I have to wiggle the foot shifter and hold it in just the right spot.
I have googled it and can’t find much on the 400’s. I can’t find a service manual online and the parts manual is super vague.
I think it is in the right side engine cover area, but not certain.
Any help would be great. thanks

So my Yamaha grizzly 700 wasn't going into reverse for some reason but Jon and George figured it out on what to do to fix that problem for me. Jon Talks about how he was able to fix that problem my Yamaha Grizzly was having with the reverse.
On a side note we are so close to 1k subs! hell ya!

I made my intro about a QuadRunner I was working on and found a multitude of problems. Most I fixed, but I'm thinking that I'll be making more trips to see the 90' LT-250/4WD. Age and needing regular attention is the reason. The owner, NOT being mechanically inclined, adds into the equation.
So, I deliver it and was offered, as payment, a 95' LT-250/4WD, with paper. It didn't run and had been sitting outside for last 12+ months. It was (basically) all there. This happened Saturday and this "Barn Find" came home to live out it's final years (I suspect).

Today I finally found time to look at her. Not a pretty sight. Rough life, many hrs....... MANY! Only 2399mi, but the speedo is disco'd. I just want to know if this will be worth pursuing. First things first, a really good cleaning. I hate working on dirty vehicles.

The battery actually took and held a charge! The carb was pulled, cleaned and the tank drained. Found a broken orange wire, dangling loose, near the carb. It was hot when the key was on and ended up connecting to a 10A fuse block. Well, I wonder why it didn't run???? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
Carb back on, fresh non-eth fuel, had to remove the air filter for this test (needs replacement), sprayed a little ether..... hit the starter, fired and died. Third time's a charm, she runs. I'll be going thru things as I can and questions will follow, in this thread.

New user and first time quad owner. I recently got a 2000 Polaris Sportsman 500 and am really excited to start working on it! I work in IT for a living and am an experienced mechanic, so at least I am not starting at 0 haha.  Looking forward to hanging out and getting to know everybody!

'11 Grizz 700 here.  Since I've got some warm weather these next couple days I've decided to start the bike after about a year of just sitting.  Took out the plug and sprayed a good amount of fogging oil on top of the piston to help lubricate things.  After about a minute of letting it soak I stuck my air line tubing in to suck out the excess, but it seems like I didn't get nearly as much in return.  Repositioned the tube enough so that everything that was gonna come out pretty much did.  I'll probably shoot some compressed air down the plug hole before doing the start just to make sure it's all out, as well as cranking it for a second before putting the plug back in.   How long would it take for a bit of standing fogging oil to seep past the piston rings, and where would it go?  I guess into the engine oil?  The oil was fairly new the last time it was started but I'm sure it could stand to be changed after sitting for so long.  If much of this fogging oil got into the engine oil should I do the change before the startup?

I have a Chinese Hybird 250 or that's what I was told it was. I found 17 numbers on the frame. Will these numbers tell me exactly what it is that I have? (I know that its a 2006 from a plate on the front)

I have a 110cc atv not sure of a brand its a Chinese model. I put on a new harness with cdi solenoid and all those. I have put a new starter on, and carburetor. I bypassed the start button cause it was just making the solenoid click. with the new button switch the atv will crank but not start. I tried to jump the solenoid and it did nothing. I am stumped. also I noticed gas leaking from the carburetor and when I took the filter off there was gas in it. I cleaned the carburetor and nothing was stuck or clogged. can someone help me out.
