I picked this little Guy up Last weekend.....Been Eyeballing it for 4 yrs now....Been Sitting under a Pine Tree in someones back yard....You could say Ive been "Stalking It"....

I talked the owner out of it for Next to nothing....150 Bucks!!! Brought that thing home and First Pull!!! BAM!!!! Fired right up....My son Garrett was Foaming at the mouth to Climb aboard and take it for its maiden voyage but just about the time he threw his leg over to mount this Trusty Red Steed it had a heart Attack and Died:aargh:

I pulled and pulled and pulled but it was a no go....So,,,,I decided I would take the Tank Cap off....Its one of those OLD SCHOOL ones with the Vented On and Off Switch.(Goggle it!!) LMAO!!! I thought maybe that vent was plugged...So for the first time I got to take a peak in to the Bowels of this Beast...I threw up in my mouth when my eyes caught their First Glimpse of the Cancerous Rust that had Formed in there..Freakin Chunks Were doing the Back Stroke in there like they were in a pool on some Caribbean Cruise Ship:huh:

I calmly told my son that I had to preform Surgery on this Little Guy....He Dismounted,,,,Reached into his Front Pocket and pulled out his little Index Finger and Thumb....Pulled the Trigger and said he would see it in the Recovery Room..LMMFAO!!! (One Freaking Cup of Coffee....Sorry people)...

Anyway,,,,,I pulled the Tank,,,,Its at the Radiator Shop right now getting cleaned up and Sealed....I pulled the Carb....Its Gummed up Bad....The Isolator Gasket is Cracked so I just ordered 3 more gaskets for the intake...I also Bought a new Carb and intake manifold for it....The plastic is in Great Shape!!!! NO CRACKS...I need to find a new Coil....the one that is on there isnt Stock....I also need to figure out why there is an Aftermarket Stop button on it and why the Stock On/Off Switch is disconnected.....That is really as far as I have gotten.....I might just put it on the Bench and Take it down to the Frame and redo it....Or I just might leave it like this and Ride the Snot out of it....We will see....

very cool! Those things are hard to hurt, these just keep going...I LOVE Ebay- there's all kinds of stuff out there!!! I'm working on a 90 and a 110 right now. those old guys are starting to get snatched up and fortunately for us, most owners don't think they're worth much. with a littlke work.....the atc110 just needed a carb kit, $13 on ebay w/freight, it runs like new! they're so simple you cant hurt them.

Hey if anyone needs an atc90 engine, a guy up the street from me has TWO, both running. wantsn like$50 each I think, I'll have to nail him down on that. He GAVE me a good atc90 tank that was laying under a tree! and I bot a clarke plastic tank from arkansas for a really good price. chvylvr on ebay has a BUNCH of stuff and he's treated me really nice! I recommend him.

Let me know if you find another 70- - the neighbors grandkids are that age and it would be a great start

Hey MWKE!

It's been a long time since I have been to this site. I got your message. I have a bunch of different motors for ya. What are you looking for? I have 90cc autos, 110 autos, 125 pitbike manual clutch, 110 semi-auto w/revo. They are all Honda copies, and are very dependable engines.

Oh yeah sweet little purchase. Reminds me of the 200x in great shape I got for $100. All it needed was a head pipe. $18 on ebay!

I should be able to get you some good prices on a 110 and wiring. Electric start and revo would be pretty b*tchin on an atc 70. I have one here that I sold the front fenders and handle bars off of. I should be here all day Friday.

We are doing the Pismo thing again this year. No date yet, but middle of June is around the time. If you are interested I'll keep you posted.

Bucking started about a month ago and works ok after 1/2 hour warmup.  Today while working on it i discovered that if i put the ignition switch in LIGHT position it runs fine right from the start.
I'm stumped!  Any idea why this could be?

My friends KQ 300 starts fine and runs, as soon as you put it in gear and try to accelerate its bucks and farts like crazy, not moving... I cleaned carb and it worked good for 1 day... now back to same problem.... could it be such as a bent valve????

Im finishing up on the Big Bear, just tying up some loose ends and its done.
My next project I actually bought first, but the Big Bear seemed like it was more challenging so tackled it first. Now looking the Eiger over im not so Sure.
I bought this Suzuki Eiger, almost a year ago, rear wheels locked up, but it ran fairly well. It was so bad that it took 3 Big Guys to get it on my trailer. All the parts were there it ran. He wanted 600.00 and I offered him 400.00. a plus it had the original Kei Hin carb on it.

You might ask, why would you want something so ugly, it is often referred to as the ugly sister to the King Quad. I actually like the Eiger I have this one and also a 2007. I have riden them before, they are strong a true beast, I am a fairly Big Guy 6' 3" 195 pds, and it fits me good, but what I really like is the wide foot print and low center of gravity , not so easy to turn over.
So I get it home and I don't have 3 big guys to help me get it off my trailer, but I do have a John Deere, hooked it up and drug it off the trailer,an afterthought I should have used a couple of furniture moving dolly's under the rear wheels, oh well. Maybe I didn't ruin the already stuck rear end or transmission I was sure which, I was fairly sure it wasn't locked brake drums, after all that they should have popped free.
This is what I have done so far. It's off the trailer I took the drive shaft bolts loose, they were tight, had to get a 3 foot cheater, I thought they were going to break. Got them out and now I can roll it around. I checked the shifter, this is a manual shift Eiger LTF400F. Foot shifter moved didn't seem to be going to any gear, but it was hard to tell, the shifter on the tank which has Low, High, and Reverse did not move. I took it apart and oiled it up good still wouldn't move. Thought the cable was stuck so I unhooked it from the linkage and cable moved freely. Looked at the linkage closely and it was stuck. I tapped it lightly, very lightly , with small hammer and it freed up kind of, but still stiff. I could tell this side cover had been off before and put back very sloppily. This is kind of where i left off except the plastics are all off, you might have seen me working on them in another post. Nothing I have done so far has helped, my next step was to take the side cover off the engine to see what's going on in there, but installing my Granite counter top, numerous honeydews, and the big bear kind of slowed down my progress. I did determine that it wasn't the rear end, that's actually what I thought it was going to be. If anyone has any ideas, they would be appreciated.
