STREET LEGAL - ONE OF A KIND HARLEY DAVIDSON 4-WHEELER $9,500 OBO Sporster 883 bored to 1200cc built into a Street Legal Licensed and Insured 4-Wheeler. It has 400ex front end, 250r Rear end. All chromed out with new black gloss paint. I have a $500 Dakota Digital Speedometer to go with it (needs installed). I also have an extra rear gear and extra set of off-road mud tires and rims. Brakes need to be adjusted, and there's a few other touch ups that will place it into show quality. I haven't started it in a while. Ran Great last run. This bike has over $20k invested in work and time. It will go about 120 mph or more. With the other gear it will go about 60 mph. It rides great on and off road. I have a 2001 suzuki quadmaster 500 4x4 that has a rev limiter when it is in any gear other than neutral, i have already fixed a bunch of stuff on it and would love to just bypass it if anyone knows how. Thanks for any help.
out of the blue my vinson wouldn't shift into park and when I am in H or L and go past a slow pace (maybe in 2nd gear) it grinds and Low grinds even louder. It sounds as though it may be in the rear diff. I have not tore into the rear end or anything yet. I was looking for advice before tearing it apart. Reverse has no grinding at all and H gear doesn't grind until you get moving past a walking pace. L grinds as soon as it moves. It shifts into gear smoothly and 4wd works just fine. There was no issues leading up to this. Any advice is appreciated thanks.
When running for a while the rancher will shut off without the fan turning on. We then took it to dealer where it was started and warmed up. The fan came on at the dealer so they then replaced the fuel filter and fuel pump. We got it back and ran good for a few days with the fan coming on when needed. Now its back to shutting off before the fan ever comes on. It seems like the time the fan should come on the bike shuts off. It will start after letting it sit for a few minutes. Any ideas of the problem?
Hello folks, I have a yamaha timberwolf 250 motor I'm putting into a tri moto 200 frame and need some help with the wiring for it. The wiring harness I got with the motor has been damaged and missing a small section so my issue is that I have 3 white wires coming from the stator assembly which connect into another 3 white wires on the voltage regulator. My question is does it matter which of those white wires go connected together or are each of the white wires different and need to be connected to the appropriate wire on the voltage regulator. Any advice or help is appreciated. Thanks.
New to QuadCrazy and to the Forum. I own a 1985 Suzuki LT230GE. It was in rough shape when I bought it 3 years ago, but running. I have ridden it over each summer, but this summer I decided to do some work on it. I am hoping there might be a few guys on the forum with some experience with this make / model, or even more general ATV knowledge, who might share their expertise with me as I putter away at making it a better, more reliable machine.
I am a Canadian, retired military Veteran (Kandahar AF, Sinai Pen) in the Eastern time zone, with 3 acres of bush that I am working on, and riding on.
