Title pretty much says it all. After fixing my throttle body I had a look at the tires. on my last ride my buddy hit a branch on his side wall with enough force to jar the quad off track., no Damage but I thought I would review mine.
The discussion about what to bring with on the trail also got me thinking about my tire health.
It looks like my rear tires are older, the front ones only really seem to have some knob wear and are in good shape. I absolutely can't get new tires this year, but I still want to ride it and reduce my risk. I am thinking of getting a couple of tubes for my rears sort of pre-emptively change them instead of having to do an urgent tube install on the trail.
Then next year I will get 2 new rears and probably the year after get to new front leaving me 2 decent spares.
I figure $50 in tubes is decent to reduce the risk until I can spend on new tires.
ATV was stolen out of our 2016 Voltage 3305 Toy Hauler that was at Cutting Edge Collision for repairs. The rear locks were broken on the rear of the toy hauler and the ATV was Stolen. Cutting Edge Collision is in a gated and secured area

Im new to the forum and the quad I just got. I want to change oil in in. Its almost impossible to find anything on-line. I know it takes 10w40 and know the oil filter location. What oil should I use? Is there a cross reference for oil filter. The closest dealer to me is an hour away. I have NAPA close and like the WIX or Napa gold filters. Also is where can I get a Manuel for it? Thanks

The bike starts right up every time, and sounds great, on flat ground it seems a little under powered, but just going up hills on just forest service roads really slows it down. I know it's only a 250 and I am too big to be riding my wifes bike. Were these bikes limited by the factory?
I picked up this bike from a family member who purchased it new, then let it sit for most of the last 13 years. It has less than 15 - 20 hours on it. I thought this would be a good first bike for my wife, and so far it is, so loves it.
The first thing I did when I got it was clean the jets on the carb, not knowing what I was doing I am sure I missed other things to look at when I had the carb out. After figuring out how to properly service this carb I plan to pull it again, and give it a more thorough cleaning. Before taking it apart again, I wanted to know what else I should do.
I did a little research and guys talked about mods to the air intake and and unplugging the exhaust... What's that mean....
I would prefer not to have to purchase a whole new exhaust.
I wouldn't mind installing a little bigger jets, but who is a reputable aftermarket?
I'm not looking for a race bike, but it just seems like it should have a little more zip.
