Hi, new couple in Upstate NY. Coxsackie area in Greene County. Found a few trails around, but love to hear from others in our area about more.

Welcome to QUADCRAZY! What kind of trails did you find up there, state land? I've ridden outside of Amsterdam, Broadalbin, Johnstown...allot of state land up there. You should take a ride and check out the Lake George area in the spring TrailPass - Lake George

Yeah next my wife and I are going to buy a trailer so we can go to all of the designated ATV areas. Right now we're just riding on "non-designated trails" down here.

there are some trails right off of the train tracks in coxsackie that run all the way through Ravena. Seems as though as long as you ride responsibly you can ride the local streets to get to the train tracks.

Oh and thanks for the welcome. Glad to be here. it's all new to me, so i've been surfing the whole site to learn as much as I can.

Welcome to QuadCrazy!

Mudd Nutts are in your area.....been trying to get up by you for a while, but haven't made it yet. Fat Duane be yer boy up there......

Nothing "legal" by us/you unless it's private property, from what I understand.

There's been some recent hoo hah about some actual trail development in the Tug Hill area.

Not to steer you away from QuadCrazy, but you can pick up some local info at:

NYATV ONLINE

They're starting to charge for membership, so that's a decision you'll have to make.

They do host member rides.....don't ask me about their trails; I'm STILL confused! LOL!!!!!

Mudd Nutts site is down for now; not sure when it'll resurrect.

Hope that helped a little.....

Every year we travel out to Potter County for a long weekend of camping and riding. The campground is connected to the state trail system which is about 43 miles of trails, mostly old logging roads. The trails also connect to Lyman Run state park which is the only state park in PA that allows ATV access. New for this year is the lower campground in the state park is open for ATV usage. The trails are even open for night riding except for the connection to the state park which closes at sunset. In addition, this area is part of the "Northcentral ATV initiative" which most of the township roads surrounding the area are also open to ATV usage. You can travel to different towns and eventually the other state trails in the area will be connected. We put on almost 200 miles in the weekend and there is a country store in a small town called Germania that sells home made cheese which is excellent.

Hello everyone, back from a crazy few months of riding, hunting and fishing! So I’ve added a storage bag to one of my bikes and loaded it up pretty good before we went out into the woods/trails etc.  My son questioned me and said what do we need all that junk for?  I told him you never know  maybe a flat tire water etc.
Needless to say that junk came in handy.   So my question to everyone that hits the trails is what do you have or recommend to maybe take with you before you go? And what would be the one most important thing that’s a must have?
And also any recommendations on a  storage bag that’s not so costly and performs the best? I like my bag but not very good .

A subcontractor working on the property stole numerous items including the 4 wheeler. The trailer, welder and chainsaw was recovered at the individuals residence. The 4 wheeler has not been recovered. Ive had this 4 wheeler since 2000, all of the children have enjoyed riding it. I would love to get it back.

Went on a great ride on Sunday from the M-33 trail head to the Lupton trailhead in the Huron National Forest.

More videos from the ride to be uploaded to the channel soon.
