Who's watching the Michael Jackson ceremony today?

Anyone from California? I heard it a nightmare over there around that Staples Center.

I might piss several ppl off or get banned from the forum, but honestly who cares? Micheal was best in the 80's and early 90"s before he flipped out and become a freaky wierdo.

And honestly I think ppl put to much into someone dieing! If I died tomorrow no one would give a crap some freaky weirdo dies and the whole world morns. 3 other ppl died during the same week and no one cares about them.

ppl say goodbye to micheal, I say good riddence!

You won't get banned for speaking your mind. You did it tastefully, that is all we can ask.

On the same note, I agree with you. Everyone forgets what kind of sicko Wacko Jacko really was. What about the kid in the early 90's that got paid a stupid amount of money to keep his mouth shut?

I hope he rest in piece but the world is a better place without him.

Allot of people feel the way you do and most of them are around your age or younger, that where never really old enough to see what he did back in the 80's to solidify his status as an entertainer. The molestation charges really tarnished his reputation..although he was never convicted. The second one was admitted to be a scam by the family. In my opinion, the guy was just weird because he was out of touch with reality. After seeing his kids and the way his daughter broke out in tears...I figure he was a loving father who was a kid inside.

Anyways..he'll go down in history as the greatest, greater than Elvis or any one entertainer. He is one of the 8 people that is known worldwide in cities and villages all over the world. I''ve never seen any artist have that affect on people where the guy can make people cry just by standing there......here's a great example:

All the Media ever did was give him crap. Now he is gone they act like they were best friends. I agree with Bot and Snipe. Age has nothing to do about it either.

What about Farrah Fawcett? She helped more boys threw puberty than Michael Jackson. But no one wants to give her credit.

Found some interesting news online when I googled Yamaha yesterday. Not sure when this went down, but Yamaha bought a percentage of Linhai (a Chinese manufacturing company) and are providing technology for Scooters, and more importantly for this forum, ATV's.

Seeing as how not everyone can AFFORD the crazy prices that have skyrocketed over the past 15 years. Yamaha and Linhai are trying to produce a more affordable model by manufacturing out of CHINA! I found a pretty substantial savings at RidersWholesale.com over what they want you to pay at the local Yamaha Dealer.
Just spreading the word. Let me know what you think about this. You can check out the Technical Specs Here

Thanks to our first responders, and the marvelous tools they have today
I'm an experienced ATC rider, but the last time riding one was 1996.
A couple of weeks ago I really got the bug to go riding again. I ended up buying a 2000 Honda TRX400EX in decent shape, and took it up to the Interlake State Recreation Area, near Linville, In, yesterday. The park sets on an area where coal had been mined. there are a lot of rocks there. It was a cool day so I made sure wear thermal underwear. I rode mostly easy trails until I felt more confident. The trails were pretty wet, but still manageable, until I went down one hill too many. I wasn't unable to climb up the other side. I spent a couple of hours trying to figure a way out. In the end I pulled the key, and started walking, back to the parking lot. The more I walked, the darker it got. It turned out I was on the wrong trail. I turned around and wend on a different trail. My legs were very sore so I took a break, and laid down under a tree, and shivered. I had fallen several times in the darkness. One thing that really helped my rescue was the ability of the Sheriff to ping my phone, and locate my truck.
Around 5:00 am I heard a drone, then saw some headlights. I walked down to them. It turned out they were looking for me. I didn't know they were part of larger group. They took me to the ambulance, and started checking me out. Once that was done I got to see the tools they had at their hands. Each of the people looking for me were assigned a radio number, that was tracked by the main computer. The screen showed the searchers paths. Where they had been, and where they were at any given time. Once they determined I was ok to go home, I was in between the ambulance and a second vehicle. I can't provide enough praise to people dedicated to helping others.
Now the, rest of the story... Before leaving home I told my wife I was going to do some riding, for about an hour. After not hearing from me for many hours, she decided to call the Sheriff for help. She gave him all the information she could. She knew the color of my truck, the ATV, and my phone number. I am very happy she looks out for me. You can bet this won't happen again. Thanks sweetie!
All of this could had been avoided if I was riding with another person, and had my phone with me.

Im rick, and im new here. I just got a Bayou 220 for $125. It locks up after a few rounds, Im pulling the motor now to see wtf. It didnt rattle or knock when it fires a few short times and it cranks and cranks with the starter before it locked up again. Ill know more tonight, but I actually bought it for the wheels to upgrade a G1 golf cart but if I can fix it, Ill keep it a bike, otherwise it gets cut up and merged with a golf cart. I have a larger bayou rear axle merging with a honda shadow vtwin 1100cc shaft drive bike and and yamaha golf cart. I am building "Frank" or "Frankie" the monster cart with around 10 to 12 inch and 26's. I like building modified toys especially when its done and it works, and doesnt cost me a fortune! lol I can weld and all that crap, been a mechanic all my life, I fix shit!! Im just disabled now and not as pliable as I was 20 years ago. I still fix shit, just takes me longer now with health and age, and Im on a low budget now. Good thing I have tools to do things myself or I'd be forced to be a couch potato. Anyway, thanks for letting me join. I have already read lots of cool threads and cant wait to show more pics of my progress

I don't know how many of you watch the X-Games, but Caleb Moore was critically injured in the snowmobile best trick contest. As a way to help raise some money to assist Caleb and his family with the mounting medical bills, Jackson Strong is auctioning off his custom modified X-Games contest snowmobile. It's a way to own an awesome machine and help out Caleb and his family in these very tough times. Give it a look.
