Recommended Posts

Fountain Valley, CA – October 2009: Among the company's newest shock absorber designs, Radflo Suspension Technology now offers a 2.0" coil-over with integrated piggy back reservoir. The engine oil dipstick on my 550XP took a dump and the bottom 1/3 was missing. Apparently it's a common occurrence from the bit of reading I've done on it. Anyway I'm not gonna replace it just to have it happen again so I cut the rest of it off and ground it flat to use as a plug.
So now with no dipstick to check oil level I have some choices.
-Buy another dipstick to use as a dipstick...NOT
-Do an oil change and build a depth checker from the new full level
-ask the good people on QuadCrazy! Any one with a like year 550XP wanna measure their dipstick from the base to the end so I can make an oil level check stick?
      Thanks folks!

      Suspension Question? Shocks for 250X
I bought the wife a 2019 honda 250X,it does not have adjustable shocks,I'm thinking of maybe getting one  as well, for her she does not notice it as much as I  do but the ride is not as good as my 1991 250X with adjustable shocks.
So I'm looking at maybe getting new shocks if I get one for myself,I find these.

I replaced the fuel pump filter and it ran great for a week or so. Then while driving across the yard in 3rd gear it shut off and hasn't started since. It has fire and its getting fuel, all fuses are good, battery fully charged. The fuel pump relay seems to be warmer than it should be when spinning it over. Any help is appreciated!

I recently took the shocks (3) off of my Honda Recon to paint the springs. But Ive been thinking of getting different shocks, I want to buy take-offs (from another quad) that are longer or smoother shocks....
Im thinking that any shock would mount, right?
the recons shocks are about 13.5" in the front and 15.5" in the rear...
Where can I find the lengths of different shocks? which ones are smoothest? any recomendations?
