The 2020 ATV Motocross National Championship Series, an AMA National Championship, returned to competition in Georgia this past weekend with the Bulldog ATVMX National at Aonia Pass MX. This was the first round of racing for amateur riders, but the second round for the AMA Pro ATV riders, after their race at Daytona ATVSX kicked off the season.

I'm Micah I live in southern Indiana in the Hoosier national forest. Just picked up my first ATV for extra cheap and I've gotta get it up and running from sitting in a friend's shed for a few years. It's a '95 Polaris Xplorer 400. I've had a little bit of experience with simple ATV stuff from the cheap chinese atv my in-laws bought for our kids. I don't expect nearly as many headaches but would love suggestions on what things to go through before putting in a battery, gas, and oil and trying to fire it up.
      Thanks!

It worked intermittenly the last couple times I had it out. Now the switch will not work at all nor the 4 wheel drive. I got the hood off exposing the wires. I checked all connections. The wiring diagram shows the power is coming from the hub safty switch and going to the front AWD hubs and then to the AWD switch. I have no power to the switch. (After 96 & 97 Polaris did away with the hub safty switch.) Any help will be appreciated.

Having light problems on 1983 Yamaha YTM200E. The lights all work when using the ignition key switch, while not running. However, when running and using the handlebar switch the lights will not work. Using the repair manual from Clymer, attached, I checked the lighting coil and voltage regulator. The lighting coil ohm test is within spec. However I cannot any continuity from the regulator between red and white wire in either direction.
Got a used voltage regulator, but it failed the continuity test as well.
      Can anyone help?

I took a quad in trade and was told that it was a blaster, thats it. Tried using the vin decoder in the stickies, but that didnt work. Tried other decoders none of them work.Im taking the vin from the frame in front of the foot peg, that matches the numbers on the engine, and when I put it into a decoder it tells me the vin isn t right. What can I do? thanks
