Headlight Covers

Recommended Posts

A guy on another forum started selling these, he owns a print shop. They do stickers for trailers, trucks, make shirts... etc. I got some of these headlight covers from him, and they are so awesome! They block hardly any light, 60% of the cover is holes. IMHO you cant even tell they are on the headlights when riding at night. He has them for the 700R style (Raptor 700, YFZ, 350, and 250A), KFX450R, and the 660R. He is also looking to make some RZR ones aswell. I had them on throughout the winter, and just went on a 70 mile trail/road ride and several washings, and they are holding up great, and still look great. Dan is a really cool guy. He is now making custom ones also. Thanks.

There is a video on Utube. If you use a heat gun, cleaning lens and read the instructions it is very easy and will last years I am sure of that. I have done store windows, trucks and 100+ ATVs. There is no way you can get something that works good and improves the look of a Raptor for under $20.00 shipped to your door.DansBackUp195-1.jpg

Have a 1998 AC 300 2x4, Just installed a new carburetor. Engine starts easy but the choke RPMs are very hi and take along time (5-10 mins when cold out). After engine has warmed up choke releases and it idles and runs fine., It does no have an electric choke. The choke lever is never used and it seems like an auto choke? Long story short, how can I lower the choke rpm levels?

Also, carb came with a spare145 jet, not 100% sure what is installed. Could this impact choke RPMs?

Any help and information greatly appreciated.

Bucking started about a month ago and works ok after 1/2 hour warmup.  Today while working on it i discovered that if i put the ignition switch in LIGHT position it runs fine right from the start.
I'm stumped!  Any idea why this could be?

I have a 97 Yamaha Timberwolf and it is beyond loud, is there any good options to silence them or at least make them bare able to drive. I know it has a crack in the exhaust pipe, but even with that fixed its still loud.

      Hi everyone,
Outlander 2006 400 XT i have replace the startor cover and right after i did that the oil light is on and not turn off, i check the wires and checked the oil level, everything seem to be normal quad is starting without any problem and rev just fine. i did not want to ride it since im not sure if it is faulty sensor or not so just be safe i did not let it run more the a minute or so.
I have read in the owner manual that i need to clean the oil strainer every 200hr unfortunately i never did that, my service manual that i have does not even indicate of such a thing. so i did some search around and it seem like canam split the manual into 3 parts
      owner manual
      service manual
      engine manual
I have the first 2 but i can not find the last one, part number 219100232. If someone can guide me where do i find the oil strainer so i can clean it i will appreciate it.   im going to do an oil pressure test tomorrow to check how many PSI i have, just to make sure.
      Thanks
