Umm we kinda need a lil more info. make, model, year, front or rear and is the old one that you are trying to replace on there still. what is your mechanical skill level? Most are held on by two bolts with locking tabs. the brake hose fitting uses the two copper washers on either side. If this has you puzzled, best bet would be to take it to a pro.

I agree with above. If you get it on you have to bleed the brakes to get air out of the brake line. If your not sure on what your doing your better off getting it done. What is the reason for changing it out if it's because it's old and worn out! It would be better to replace both of them at the same time.

Hi, I'm a newbie on here.  I just got a 2007 Suzuki KingQuad LT-A450X.  Are there any specific issues to look for on this model?  Any specific maintenance to do other than the usual oil and filter changes?

Just bought 06 KingQuad 700 and first ride out hit a mud hole, not to deep and it shut off and would not start.
Got it home and found the spark plug hole was full of mud and water. Went and bout a new spark plug and began cleaning it out. Put a deep socket in there and it wouldn’t grab. Took a pic with my flash and this is what I see. Any suggestions? And what is it??
previous owner said it had a new coil so that’s why I decided to change out the spark plug, also ordered new coil should be here by the weekend.

When I push down on the rear brake pedal, it makes the left hand brake very sloppy. Is there a way to adjust that? I have a 2007 Suzuki Vinson

I have completely replaced my front brake shoes, hoses, and master cylinder. I have bled the brakes the best I could. I am still unable to build up much pressure. The wheel cylinders only push out about 1/8" when the handle is squeezed.
What should be the typical travel on the cylinder for the brake shoe to hit the drum?
I've used a brake bleeder, but still can't get all of the air out.
I'm not sure what else to do.
      Any thoughts?

I replaced the front and rear brakes on my 98 King Quad 300 today. The right front is dragging. it had plenty of clearance when I installed the drum. it turned normal until I tried to test drive it. Wheel cylinders were dry and not leaking. Also even with a dragging Right front brake they are weak. I wonder if it is something with the self adjuster and how can I get the drum back off. I just recently bought it for cheap because he got laid off of work so I don.t know any history on it. It didn't do it before but the brakes were very weak and thats why new brake shoes. old oned wereabout 60% gone. Thanks.
