removing the air box lid does give you a little extra, but watch out for water.

I kinda figured that one, i thought if im in real deep water, i might as well be floating down the river...........lol I guess this new 2012 Bruteforce 300 is to new to have any aftermarket parts. Looks like i will have to wait. Thanks for the information !!

My friend has a brute and they make an intake for it. that replaces/modifys the airbox lid. EHS Racing Intake Mud Cover

It sounded awsome but I am not sure how it worked.

Looks Cool !! But wonder if it will go under my seat ?? What would be a good muffler for that 300 ? Dont want anything to loud, cause i deer hunt,,,,,,but would like a little xtra ummpphh. ATV Illustrated ( I Think ) rated this machine their atv of the year. Take off is a tad slow, but once it gets going it goes hard, very torquey and powerful machine for what i use it for. If i had a 750 Brute Force i'd be askin for trouble, in the hospital, or a pine box................lol THX for the info !! I will check it out.

check your kawi dealer, maybe the 650's and 750's have the same air filter. k&n has them for those machines. they might also have an up to date listing for your bike too ...

First of all sorry I have been MIA here for a while, been busy with school and work.  I'll try and reply on some other threads asap, but posting this one because I just picked up a 2017 sportsman 570 before the new year and popped a boot on it going through a mud hole.  The former owner had aftermarket axles on it to accommodate the 4in lift and idk what brand they are but they're skinny as heck and idk what boot to buy to rebuild with?  It's the rear right lower boot (under the brake calp.).  I'll post some pics when I can and sorry again I've missed yall on the forum!

Hi I was riding my Honda the other day and I gave it gas for about a quarter-mile just flooring it and then it started to lose power. I pushed it about a mile home which was a pain in the butt but when I got home It still had gas, compression and spark. Do you think the timing jumped possibly?

      Hello all!
A friend of mine has this particular 4 wheeler. It sat in the garage for about a year, so I redid the carb, cleaned the tank and installed a new petcock. So far, it cranks right away whether its button started or pull started. So I have a couple of questions concerning the carb and air filter.
      1. Is this a cvk32 250 or 350 carb? As the air fuel ratio adjustment is different according to a cvk document I read. What's your adjustment setting? 2 whole turns and a 1/8 or 2 whole turns and a 1/2? Comparing the old setting on the carb to the new setting (and where the needle sits now), makes me think it was way off before.
      2. The Air filter cover, gasket, air filter and plate element are all missing. So I was thinking of removing the hose that goes to the air box and put one of those K&N style looking filters and be done with it. So my question is.. will I have to readjust Air Fuel screw or just adjust Idle?
It's just going to be driven around the neighborhood.
Thanks in advance for any info or help. Y'all stay safe out there!

I have a 2006 Bombardier Outlander 400  that I purchased new.  I use the Outlander for hunting and working around the acreage. Muffler has worn out with holes in it and I am looking for a replacement.  From what I can find, factory mufflers are no longer available.  Are there any after market mufflers that can be found that fit without having to hire an expert welder to get creative?   Not looking for high performance, just a good quiet muffler. thanks
