2013 JCTRA Hangover Scrambles @ Washougal MXP

Recommended Posts

This years event is once again being held at the world famous Washougal Motocross Park (Washougal Motocross Park |)

As always the event is held on January 1st which is a Tuesday this year.

For the most part the format will be the same as last year.

There may be an oppotunity for a Test Race for UTV/SXS racers this year. If we get enough UTV/SXS racers PREREGISTERED ONLINE by Wednesday, December 26th (midnite) we will have a 30 minute UTV/SXS test race! The whole purpose of doing it this way is to gauge interest. If there's enough people willing to brave Washougal and their UTV/SXS's then we'll be able to justify bumping or moving other classes around next year and give them a full 60 minute race. The UTV/SXS test race will be on the C Course, the longest, toughest course...same as the 4X4 Ute quads and the expert bikes ride. If you want to ride your UTV/SXS at Washougal, go to jctra.org :: All things Jones Creek and preregister before Wednesday, December 26th! If the UTV/SXS race is canceled all entries will be refunded within 24 hrs (via Paypal) and all preregistered racers will be emailed letting them know the race has been canceled.

You can view this years flier at:

2013 Hangover Scrambles Flier

Please feel free to post these fliers wherever you think it is appropriate. (Please do not post them on peoples car windows or other locations where they might turn into litter...)

If you have any specific questions, please email to: [email protected]

Hope to see you there!

I just helped my brother order a replacement pull-start/recoil start assembly for his 83-89(not sure witch year) Suzuki quad.  It did not come with the part that sits inside between the engine starter shaft and recoil start assembly,  that mounts to the engine and has teeth that catch the recoil start to turn over the engine.  I can't remember what its called and can't look the part to order.

      Hello,
I have just acquired an old (1995) Kawasaki Bayou 220. It is in relatively good condition but I would really like to overhaul it.
Do you know how I can find the service manual?
      thanks!

Hello all, I’m working on my sons 99 Yamaha Warrior 350. When I pulled the plastic cover off left side of engine, I can see oil leak at the seal. I pulled the bolt out and then the starter boss(I guess that’s what it’s called?) I can see that the boss doesn’t make contact with the seal. Is there a spacer of some type that slides on to the boss, to make contact with the seal? This seal is held in place with a plate with 3 screws in it. This boss slides into the bearing in the stator. I have been to parts websites and I don’t see what I’m needing. Maybe it’s just the wrong seal?

Does anyone on here have a 2013 honda rancher? I have had several Honda ranchers in the past but I bought this 2013 rancher and it hits the rev limiter at half throttle. It is very annoying and I was wondering if anyone else's Rancher does this. If this is something from the factory or if I have a problem or not just trying to figure it out. Any help would be appreciated

I had a dead battery. Replaced it and now wont start. I press the brake, turn on the key. The lights come on & fan also but it does not turn over. I noticed that the brake lights do not come on also. Is there a relay that failed somehow?

This is from the Hangover Hare Scrambles on January 1rst at Washougal MX Park. Washington. I been doing this race every year since 2007. This is from this year. Keep in mind Im 51 years old, used to a Honda 450R and riding a stock LTZ 400 for the 2nd time ever and the suspension on that quad kinda sucks. But, I had a blast [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UUKSSdTO734]2014 JCTRA Hangover Hare Scrambles at Washougal-Quads - YouTube[/ame]
