With me being in and out of the forums so much I just wanted to start a post and let you know what I was up to when I wasn't here being a mod.
Over the winter months I pretty much hung out in the shop and online. Not riding much. I did get to meet up with the coal country riders at Motorama.
I took some time in the winter to clean up the quads and fix anything needed for the upcoming riding season.
Like cleaning the clutch and fixing a warn coolant hose on the AC H1.
I also added ammo boxes for storage not knowing they will save my butt in another month or so.
I changed the brakes and fluids on the AC 500.
And a front bearing
At the wifes request she got her seat recovered
Then I ended up trading the teryx for a new commander.
I fixed the light on the trailer from the tall pines incident and we are ready to roll!
The first event was Trail Jam at the Lost trails where we met a few friends from ATV Illustriated, Power Sports Marketing, and On the Trail TV. We also helped with the poker run.
Next we headed to Tall Pines ATV Park in Andover NY.
Right about now the weather was perfect for riding and I wanted to ride like every weekend. Besides the rides I spent some time learning about trail maintenance and economic impacts of trail systems by visiting the AOAA and the Bald Eagle State Forest. I was able to meet those who are working on the AOAA, Lance who wrote for quad mag and alot of DCNR people in charge of maintaining and managing the forests.
Then we attended the Renovo Cruise for a Cure organized by Centeral Mountian ATV along with Bucktail medical center relay for life. It was about a 50 mile ride connecting Renovo to the Bloody Skillet. We camped at Whiskey Springs and ended up riding there, Bloody Skillet, and the connector trail to SSRT.
Wanted to give some brief updates on some different bits of news we have going on!
First off, the Fishers ATV World episode that will feature last years Haunted Forest Ride at Wilderness Trail Off-Road Park will be on the Outdoor Channel on Monday, February 27th at 4:00 PM, 9:00 PM, and 12:30 AM. We are really looking forward to seeing how it turned out, so make sure to tune in! The show will re-air on May 21st at the same times. Make sure to check it out! If you were there, you may just see yourself on national television!
Also, the Holler Crawlers have been conducting free guided rides all winter. We have had some great ones so far, and its been really warm on most of them. Jon, Larry, and Gary have all taken groups out so far and it looks like that will continue into the spring. We have another guided ride date set for Saturday, March 3. It will be an off park ride. More details are forthcoming. To stay up to date on our guided rides, you will need to check our forum out at www.hollercrawlers.com • Index page and register real quick if you haven’t already. Also, we have some news concerning the events for 2012. First, we have decided to do a spring event. It will be called the Ride For Cody and will take place on May 5th at the Hwy 119 Trailhead of Wilderness Trail Off-Road Park at 10 AM. This is a benefit ride for LCpl Cody Evans, a local Marine from Speedwell, TN who was severely injured in combat. We would appreciate anyone and everyone coming out and helping with whatever financial donations you can. There will be a bunch of guided rides that day, some leaving at 10 AM and some at 12 noon. We hope to have some music later on that evening for everyone to enjoy. This will be a great day on the trails enjoying the spring weather, but most importantly it will help raise money for a great young man who has given so much to this country and keeping our freedoms alive. Please join us at the event, and if you have facebook you can RSVP by searching "Ride For Cody" or go to Holler Crawlers Off-Road Club of Bell County, KY | Facebook and click on the EVENTS link on the left. If you are unable to come but would like to donate, donations can be sent to this address:

We need a huge turn out so please come and like I said, invite all your friends with ATVs as well!!!
Also, we are very happy to announce that our buddy and worlds most famous Holler Crawler, Brian Fisher, will be back at this years Haunted Forest Ride! So come out and meet the world’s most down-to-earth ATV celebrity at this years Haunted Forest Ride, the weekend of October 20th! We plan on having this year as a weekend long event, with the Haunted Forest Ride being the main attraction that Saturday evening. There will be a TON of new suprises to get your blood rushing this year, so look out! And as always, it will be completely free of charge to enter the event, and there is no charge to ride Wilderness Trail Off-Road Park. Can’t beat that!
