1996 4x4 Timberwolf rearend width. Can someone with some knowledge of these machines answer this question for me please. Are all 4x4 timberwolves this narrow in the rearend? These tires are so close the right one actually rubs the muffler. Thinking about seeing if there are any spacers out there for it. I need at least an inch more clearance. .

I havent had a lot of success with JB weld on exhaust , doesnt like the high heat, but it will hold for a while, if still having problems they make putty for exhaust, also doent hold up well, the constant jaring of the machine loosens it and it falls out. Not much help, but that is my expierience.

Tanks do get nasty, being plastic helps a lot, not rust ot corrosion, and they clean up very easily. Good job getting it going and painting the racks, coming along nicely.

Hey! So, I got back on the project this week. I've started up a part time small engine repair gig and it's been keeping me busy! Anyhow, I got the ol girl running pretty good. I cleaned out the fuel tank and while doing so, realized that was 90% of my problem all along.🤦🏼‍♂️ Can't believe I overlooked that. Tank was FILTHY! Pretty much was mud at the bottom and once I got that flushed and added fresh gas, she fired right away. Now to buy some front tires and she'll be ready to have some fun and be put to work. Painting the racks and front bumper also. Will have them put back on next week. (Busy this weekend 🥵)

I ended up welding a bombardier 400exhahst onto it ... And then it still backfired , I discovered more holes up near the head, I'm going to use some high heat jb weld to patch them

Most handlebar switches can be dismantled and cleaned.

My uncle bought a Baja 250, 2006. Knew there was no spark since the get go. He don't know anything about quads so is getting me to help him try to get it running... Battery is bad so I connected battery charger to it to crank it over , cranks over well , but no spark .... Lights and everything work fine , but with each crank over using the e start switch , the display reads 999 888 777 666 ... Right down to 000 and repeats itself . He managed to get a parts bike , I changed over the CDI and the coil and the stator from the parts bike and there was another black box by the voltage regulator I changed over ... I used my multimeter to confirm as much as I could works , it's hard without knowing which wires are which , and I cannot find any diagrams online for this bike ? Do you think it could be the Killswitch? There's so many wires coming from there I don't know where to start . Also I should mention it appears the fan on the front of the bike has been taken off (the wires have been cut too ) If this bike sparked it would run . The previous owner said he parked it one day and it just wouldn't start after.

The most common reason for that oil in the airbox, and especially if it starts doing it suddenly, is that the sump is full of fuel. A sump full of fuel would also cause the engine dieng once it starts to get hot. I'd suggest checking the oil level as the first thing. A lot of bikes also have restrictor valves or orifices in their breather hoses, and in some models if that restrictor blocks up it can cause problems like the oil in the airbox.

It took a lot of work and rejetting but I've managed to get the Motoku clone carb running pretty damn good on my Quadrunner 250. Part of the idle problem I was fighting ended up being a fuel pump issue, there was no fuel in the vacuum line but I think there was a pinhole leak in the diaphram. After replacing it I no longer have issues with it stalling every time at idle when warm.

Sometimes the chinese carbs are our only options unfortunately. I have had mixed luck. On a kodiak the previous owner put one on and then sold the machine because it ran so bad. I tried everything I could think of to get it to run right and never did. Found a used OEM and problem solved. Swapping jets and setting the float is minimum. Seems like they never cold start or choke right either. have gotten carbs where air passages were never drilled. Total fail. Seems like on lawnmowers they work much better. Not perfect but same scenario, OEM is just not available new or used so you have to make something work. I was fighting random problems with a 300 bayou. Bought a chinese carb just as a process of elimination. Ran pretty decent. So I swapped jets and been running it ever since.

Hi guys. I have a problem where the quad will start and run well for about 5 minutes and then it dies. On inspection the airbox has oil in it (quite a lot). The oil is pumping through the cylinder head breather hose. This problem first happened suddenly. I have since done the top end including, piston, gaskets, rings and valves. I have also done the carb (not that I thought that this was the problem). The compression seems normal. The only thing that I can think of, is that I did not grind the valves well enough. Anyone experienced this? If so, how did you fix it? Any other thoughts?

As cited in the Hur report, Biden read classified material to his Ghost Writer. Which means, he had them, he knew he had them and he didn’t turn them in at the time, which means that his possession wasn’t “inadvertent”. Not to mention reading classified documents to someone who didn’t hold a clearance….all those things are felonies. Given all of that, it’s not hard to imagine that those documents weren’t just “stumbled upon” and that they were actively looking for them when they were “found” because Biden knew he had them. I handled classified materials for 30 years so I am very knowledgeable about its handling and can assure you that no one “inadvertently” walks away with TS SCI documents. I have several issues with Biden beyond the classified materials issue, and therefore won’t vote for him. I have just as many issues or more with Trump. Personally, I’m done voting for someone I don’t think should hold the office. It’s a great county, and still will be after the next term is over. It really amazes me that people think that one man can “destroy our Democracy. Our system has checks and balances and they work.

You may feel you have poor choices but by not voting you are in effect casting a vote for the one who is the worst choice.

You can adjust the throttle in the throttle body but would have to set it to about 4,000 rpm to keep the motor running. Low idle is entirely different than erratic idle (up down, up down -> dead)

In my Canadian view on your election, if you don't vote you are effectively voting for the worst possible candidate. I am not a "them or us" voter. I vote for the person who I think will best represent my community, with a secondary regard for the party they represent. In your 2 party system that entails voting for the "wrong party" at times. As I see it , I don't agree with some of the things Biden has done, but the main complaint against him is his age. He still has control of all his faculties, His running mate appears to me to be capable of doing the job if she has to take over part way through the term. I could fill a data bank listing tRump's faults and connections to Russia, his admiration of dictators and his immorality and flouting of commercial law and the tax system. He certainly doesn't represent "Christian values" as I know them, I find it appalling the support he has among the Evangelists. Kennedy is a nut case even his family doesn't support and warns against him. There is a huge difference between inadvertently possessing some "classified" documents from your administration and voluntarily handing them over and possessing and sharing with individuals who are not unauthorized to see them, and then hiding them to retain them. For what purpose is a big question you should ask? From statements his staff has made, he quite possibly still have some stashed away that were moved while the search of Mar-A-Lago was under way. Not voting may be a choice, but as I said, it is in effect a vote for the worst possible candidate. This is the time to vote for the best candidate(s) offered despite whether they belong to the "wrong party" or not.
