  4. I'm open to any info on the 2004 Polaris Magnum 330cc 4x4 4 wheeler GOOD / BAD ? Any info would be helpful . Thanks ... Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

  6. Is the air filter clogged? Sometimes the jets need to be cleaned with a very small wire because the dirt or grime won't come off with the air compressor.
  7. Looks better with a roof and windshield. I opted for the half windshield and I'm glad I did. For slow trail riding a lot of heat builds up where I'm sitting. The half windshield allows me to get air coming in to cool me off. Sent from my SM-A520F using Tapatalk
  8. My best guess would be to go with the stock jet. In the good ole days of carburetted cars those symptoms would point to a faulty acceleration pump. Sudden opening of the throttle causes a drop in vacuum and with it a momentary starving of fuel . That's where the accelerator pump gives it a shot to make up for that momentary starvation .. It could be with the larger than normal main jet and air screw opened up ( most of them work best around 1 1/2 to 2 turns out from seated ) you are getting that vacuum drop and fuel starvation when you suddenly open it up. By opening the throttle slowly you don't lose the vacuum and fuel delivery.
  9. Another question I have is what other years do parts swap with the 2004 330 Magnum 4x4 ? Thanks in advance for any replies / advice Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  10. The owner also said it has 218.5 miles & 92 hrs , this was used on his property and garage kept and was his wife's ATV. MY QUESTIONS What do you think of the price @ $2800? What are common issues with this model 2004 330 Magnum 4x4? Is this enough 4 wheeler to get me 240lbs my gear and a deer out of the mountains? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  11. hi gunna start by saying i got this on trade and was not informed of any mods this is gunna be a little long but really need help ive been struggling with it alot i found out for my self a dyno jet kit was installed ok so atv starts right away idles great when im riding in ANY gear EXCEPT 1st if i go to hammer the throttle the atv starts bogging it wont die it will just bogg till i let off the throttle and slowly climb up the rpms again for example... im driving in 3rd shift to 4th and snap the throttle it bogs but if i shift to 3rd and slowely use throttle it runs fine the other day i went to go climb a short hill not very steep or long in 3rd gear and just when i got to the top almost it stalled i tried again in 2nd stalled again put it in 1st LOW and it climbed right up today i went riding in some water (its snorkled and sealed verywell no water is getting in) and i cannot go through tire high water in anygear other then 1st it will just bogg and almost die in 1st it powers throught the watter BUT i did a water wheelie in 1st and just as i reached the peak of the wheelie it bogged in the water and i couldnt throttle without a bog till i got out oof the water... my carb is spotless ive cleaned it 10 times jets arenot plugged i can see light through every one diaghram is not pinched or poked my PMS screw is 3 turns out as advised and my needle clip is 3rd slot from the top battery is fully charged and not over charging i checked.. so im thinking 3 things 1 carb is running out of gas when snapping the throttle or going through mud or water or haveing any type of load ( dosent sound right to me though) 2 main jet to big stock says 138*with pump ..im running a 144 3 maby my clutch is not good any more ? i dont know... at this point im lost if anyone at all has some info id apreceate it i should be able to have low end power in 2nd 3rd and 4th depending on what im doing but i have no low end power in any gear other then 1st ... and my top end is suffering while trying to quickly accelerate

  13. Tried new plug, same thing. checked intake valve setting, it was a little tight, no movement of rocker at tdc. thought what the heck, checked timing again and altho the marks were dead on, it was apparently firing just after tdc on the down stroke. moved timing one tooth and it fired right up. been riding it and start and stop all day. so far so good! thank you for your input tho, I appreciate it. I did find that the tensioner was stuck and not coming all the way out. guess that is what let it jump time a little
  14. A tight valve adjustment can cause hard starting. I have seen vehicles parked and not start later. Usually, it has been happening for a while... hard to start in the morning, but once started, will start all day. If you are squirting gas directly in the cylinder, through the spark plug hole, you might be flooding it. Might want to try a new plug. Odd that it has spark, compression (??), and fuel without starting. Oscar

  16. Most likely your belt is either wrong or just too tight, keeping the transmission input shaft turning. There are shims in the drive CVT clutch to change the belt preload. There may be adjustments in the engine to transmission distance. You should have a little over an inch (1 1/8 to 1 1/4) of depression in your belt. Also, there is usually a sleeve on the drive clutch shaft that should rotate freely. If it is siezed, it can cause the belt to drag, causing it to not go into gear while running. I'm sure someone will be along with a link to a manual. Oscar
  17. I got the same problem
  18. I'm having the same problem, I replaced the carburetor and spark plug but no dice. I thinking about replacing the spark plug wire next. Did you ever figure it out?
  19. 99 Yamaha Big Bear doesn't run right

starts and runs fine if I go slow and easy but when I give it a lot of gas it start skipping or something (it doesn't go faster) I just replaced the carburetor and spark plug but no change.  Any ideas?

  20. I just got one from justgastanks
    OEM Manual Thank You
  21. Here is a direct link to the Warrior service manual in the forums Download section .. The wiring is the same throughout the Warrior model years.

  23. Would you like to ride your ATV from the Snow Shoe Rails to Trails all the way to the Whiskey Springs ATV trails? It can happen! Read about the ATV Connector Trail Study being done by LARSON DESIGN GROUP to determine the feasibility of the most direct, environmentally sound, and sustainable connector trail possible between the Bloody Skillet and Whiskey Springs ATV trails. Download and read about the connector trail study here: http://www.docs.dcnr.pa.gov/cs/groups/public/documents/document/DCNR_20033209.pdf If you enjoy riding ATVs and want to see this connector trail become a reality, you’re encouraged to attend a public meeting on either October 26, 2017 or November 9, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Durrwachter Alumni Conference Center at Lock Haven University. The objective of the meetings will be to review the findings of the connector trail study, unveil conceptual routes, and answer questions and concerns. Your participation is needed to make this happen. Local businesses and the ATV community envision the trail as an economic and tourism driver, which would benefit small towns throughout the route. Questions and comments can be submitted through a dedicated email address at [email protected]
  24. Hello all, I've got a website ill be starting up soon, and before I make the final investment I want to know what you guys think about my idea. Here are images of gas caps, hand guards, license plates, and small flags. Everything is 3D printed so you can customize text, Icons, and color giving you the ability to add a cool theme to your ride for under $100. Prices would be $10-$15 for the plates, $15 for the flag, $30 for the hand guards, and $17-$20 for the gas caps. Just looking for a public opinion about this idea and even some pointers. Im not selling anything on here. Attached are images of everything with example custom text/icons. Thanks!
  25. I have a bayou 220 that will not start. Here is so far. Timing is dead on according to marks, carb is getting gas, plug is firing good crisp blue spark, but it will not hit even squirting gas directly in cylinder. motor turns over fine, compression will blow finger off of spark plug hole. have not checked setting on valves yet, but verified they are working. was riding it and it ran great. parked it to eat dinner, went back out and it would crank but no start. getting fuel, and fire and air but wont even cough. any ideas?
