  1. I've taught my 11 and 7 year old some basic stuff on cars, spark plugs, EGR valve, wires, etc. But neither of them are really interested in it. I did get my oldest to build a little mini car and wire everything up with me, and they both had fun with the cloud chamber, but that was more due to the "Wow" factor. You'd think at least one out of three would be mechanically inclined. I've got my money on the baby, she's not as fragile as the other two. I hope so because it would be fun to have someone to do this stuff with. My oldest daughter asked me why I changed out the exhaust if the old one was working and I told her the new exhaust added ten horsepower. Her response was "So?" I said, "Well that will make it faster" and she said "So?" It's like, whose kid ARE you?! They gave me the wrong one!!!

  2. Meh. Your choice. I wouldn't bother since its not that cold in the south but its a neat feature that supposedly makes it start and idle a bit easier in cold weather. Probably a necessity in the far north.

  5. My name is Tiffany, I'm 32 and I have 3 girls, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 ferrets, 2 bearded dragons, and a tarantula. I've ridden motorcycles (I have a Buell Blast) but haven't had much experience with four wheelers. I wrecked a Banshee when I was 13 but that's about it, lol. I just bought my daughter a 2007 Honda trx400ex for her birthday and I'm doing some modifications. It's been alot of fun. I've worked on cars and trucks but never atv's and it's so much more enjoyable. Everything is so much easier to get to. When I want some quiet time I sneak out to the garage and work on it for a little while. I've got a new carb put on, I'm rebuilding the old one because I've never done it and wanted to try it out. I just finished installing a stage 3 rev box and coil, put on a new exhaust and silencer, and a k&n air filter. I'm getting ready to start redoing the body (I had idea how much those supplies were going to cost; ouch!), next I'll probably tear into the top half of this engine.
