So we have to post 10 times?
At least 10 for free access or you can always upgrade your membership to bypass this rule. See rules https://www.quadcrazy.com/announcement/16-requirements-to-access-downloads-read-here/

New to the forum, looking for a manual for a 1988 YFM200DX. Neighbor gifted it to me and starting the process of rebuild/reconditioning it with my boys before teaching them to ride. Thanks for the help!
Here it is. Please follow our guidelines

Haha. I got the membership! Fastest way to get all the manuals needed. And a resource to turn to when I get stumped trying to work on them! Second level!
Thanks for the support... Enjoy!

Merci, cela aide.
English translation via https://translate.google.com/
QuoteThanks, that helps. If anyone can get a 1993 manual, owners, parts, or a repair, I'd definitely appreciate it. I downloaded the multiple manual at the beginning of this thread. What do I have to disassemble to access the solenoid and the starter?? One, maybe both are bad, I'd like to check the solenoid output, then wire the starter directly to see if it works. I sometimes get an electric start, but the starter does not stay engaged for too long. I can test just need to find them and access them.
@Badboywhitek Please post a new forum topic about your issue. All Polaris service manuals are located here: https://www.quadcrazy.com/files/category/7-polaris-atv/

I personally understand the plight of people dealing with this situation on this forum. I have scoured the internet for a free manual for my 4 wheeler and this is the only place. I'm sure this is the situation for many people, many of these people are not used to being forum members. While the may be a perfect candidate for someone who will be helpful down the road they may not be familiar with the etiquette of sites like this and they have a problem to which they are looking for an answer. While I appreciate this site for the community, information, and the offered download section. I am just now discovering it, but at the same time I need the manual for the 4 wheeler I just bought. I absolutely get what the mods are trying to do with this requirement, but it seems that it will inevitably lead to people doing things such as the OP (who by the way was much better in his execution then some of the people I have come across in my short time on this forum). It comes down to a situation such as not reading a warning label on a product before using or signing a terms of use without actually reading it. People are just in a hurry to get what they need and probably aren't taking a very long time to read the wall of text that accompanies signing up. Some gentle explanation and pointers from more established members is all that's required for most people to get them to realize the actual purpose of this rule and abide by it.
Just to point out I normally wouldn't have even responded to a post such as this, but I too am hoping to finish my 10 posts. While I have been doing a lot of perusing around the site to find information the last 3 days I have little to no input to give people because I haven't had the chance to learn about particular 4 wheelers myself yet which is why I say there's people that may be very useful parts of this community in the future, but they need a bone thrown to them right now, because the need the opportunity to learn. I love forums and now that I just bought a new to me 4 wheeler and will be working on it, I will be keeping an eye on this forum and helping people where my knowledge base will allow.
I appreciate your post but I'm not sure I get the point or what the issue is. For anyone that doesn't want to participate, they have an option to pay $29 for a premium membership and bypass this rule. That's for an entire year. Once again, $29 for a year, plus...no ads. This is a forum/community first and a downloads section second, free for members who participate. Without participation, it will go away. Due to facebook and large social networks taking up most of the online participation, we had to do something to stimulate activity. As it is, everyone joining is mostly posting mechanical help topics, which is great, but all the "sharing of activity", photos, and such, has mostly moved to facebook, instagram, etc.
Here are the options:
- Participate in this community, use our community downloads and sections free.
- Bypass the need to contribute by purchasing a premium membership and gain immediate access: https://www.quadcrazy.com/subscriptions
- Buy a manual elsewhere, like emanuals for instance.
There should be no confusion about this. You can find 100s of other sites to go to. If there is someting of need, then its something of value. Join our community and participate or pay for a membership to bypass participation. 😁

That did not work. It merges my replies. I'll keep posting. Thanks for your help. Jeremy
This is exactly what we try and prevent, gaming the system...you can always purchase a $29 yearly membership to bypass posting: https://www.quadcrazy.com/subscriptions

I find navigating through this site difficult since it's got a lot of advertisement
Thanks for joining! Unfortunately, nowadays this is the only way to support online sites. We do offer a NO-ADs membership for $29 a year if of interest: https://www.quadcrazy.com/subscriptions

I found some more info on this plug on my 4 wheeler but I have not been approved by a moderator to participate yet.
You should be good to go now. We approve new memebr content a few times daily, so it could be a few hours to up to 12, depending on the time of day. Now that you have posted, you will not need to wait for approvals unless its moderated content; some links, words, etc. This is to prevent new members joining and spamming the community.

How do you know? There is still a 6 month hole in this thread and at least one missing post I made last year. How can you prove posts have not been deleted? You can't prove a negative.
LOL...none of your posts have been removed. I'm really not sure what to tell you. Have you looked at your own posts in the other topic or the search link I posted? I'm pretty sure your content is there if not in this topic. Take a look for yourself: https://www.quadcrazy.com/search/?&q=covid&type=forums_topic&author=JustRandy&nodes=21&search_and_or=or&start_after=1619827200&start_before=1638230400
Most of your "missing" posts are probably in the presidential topic which rather than stick to politics, veered off into covid. We really should take the covid posts you and others made in that topic and move them to this one.
We have never removed any of your posts, we would let you know if we needed to do that.

Yep but so many posts to rifle through
You can try and use advance search. Just go to https://www.quadcrazy.com/search/ So in this case, I searched posts by you with keyword "covid" from May - November: https://www.quadcrazy.com/search/?&q=covid&type=forums_topic&author=JustRandy&nodes=21&search_and_or=or&start_after=1619827200&start_before=1638230400
Just wanted to share that the option exists for any type of more in depth content searches. 😁

I thought of that but didn't see my prediction post there either. Maybe I just missed it considering the size of that thread.
But it appears all posts between May and November on this thread are missing. Since my prediction chart ends in august I figured it must have been deleted. Apologies if I'm in error, but a 6 month hole looks suspicious.
I've never seen anyone anywhere here other than a small handful of regulars and those asking for help one time. Hagbard has made valiant effort to start interesting topics to interact with users yet nothing but crickets each time. That's why I found it unbelievable that anyone would care what is said in such a sterile environment.
Freedom of speech is always inversely proportional to the size of the audience.
You can see all your posts on your profile page under your activity: https://www.quadcrazy.com/profile/7621-justrandy/content/. Everyone can do that. If you really find someting that is missing, I'll investigate further for you.
As far as not seeing anyone, just remember that not everyone posts. Mostly those that need help and can't find an existing topic that has helped them. "Sharing" stuff has moved off to facebook, instagram and the likes...mostly. If you notice, its mostly "help" type topics that are new every week. On avg, we see 100-200 new members register per month and about 30K unique visitors per month just browsing or landing on our pages from other sources, searches, etc.
Getting people to participate is the challenge/key. You can also look at the site activity at any time through the activity feed: https://www.quadcrazy.com/discover/

Looks like lots of posts have been deleted. Why censor a site that no one sees? Maybe admin wants even less people than the 4 semi-regulars they have now?
Nope, no posts have been deleted. Maybe you are looking for your posts in the wrong topic (see below)? Just because you don't see people logged in and answering your posts, doesn't mean we don't receive traffic from users browsing as guests and reading them (keep that it mind). It is the internet and we are one of the highest ranking atv forums (for what its worth nowadays), when you "google it"....lol.
