  1. trailblazer im sure you have heard this b4 but with all the money your about to spend on modding your bike why dont you save your cash then sell the bike and get a different quad that will suit your needs better..it makes alot more sense...plus yuor only gonna get so much out of the trailblazer 250...on another note,,,theres a reason why you cant find a jetting kit....because no one mods these bikes... i know how you feel your probably saying " well this is the bike i have to work with...so im gonna mod this one.." but when you weigh it out your getting older and that thing is eventually going to out grow you if it already hasnt....

  2. ya there supposed to be really tough... i run the c series up front and i was going to run them in the rear but decided to go with the T9 in the rear i still have to order them tho...ive heard from other people that the c series are weak....one guy busted 2 sets in one week...

  3. Are you from ATVFAN also? That paint job looks familiar!

yep you got it...i use the same username and all from atvfan.....i usually surf all kinds atv forums....some call it an obsession...lol i tell my g/f that atv's are my drug of chioce lol:cool:

  4. thats very true...like i said i run the steel bars ...they cost 20 bucks and i probably went through 3 of em last season...i just dont see the resoning in spending a 100 bucks for a set of bars that i will potentially bend anyways......as for the steering stem i really need to get a good one i think it would make all the difference...

  5. good enough..i know alot of people trash the 450's...i like them...my next bike will probably be a 450 but i want a efi...so hopefully in a few years yamaha makes the yfz a efi because im a yami boy...i just like the quality and reliability of my yami.

What really impresses me about 450's is how much smaller cc wise they are but they can still keep up with the big bores like the 700r...

  6. i never said they are troublesome ///...simply just higher maintanace...being a high strung engine theres alot more wear and tear when it comes to racing it ...in most cases you'll rebiuld a 450 b4 a 700r...depending on the rider...for some the 450's never let them down tho...i guess it all depends on how you treat your bike...thats all i was trying to say i guess i should have clarified...lol:shocked:

  7. ya i wanted something different....i still wanted to keep that 2 tone kinda look but wanted some colours that were unique...you dont see black and blue too often...next season im gonna fork out for some new plastics to match this colour...just didnt have the ca$h at the moment so i painted them instead its alot cheaper....costs about 20 bucks to do...

  8. the kawi is the slowest of all the 450's ...go with the rappy its the best trail ride out there..has tones of power and is very reliable...fuel injection is awesome for cold starts ...trust me it will never let you down...if your someone that likes to ride fast the 700 is for you...you never have to screw around with jetting your carbs or worring about dirty carbs...hop on it and go...450's are higher maintanence as they are designed for racing...

  9. i used to have insurance onmy bike but after i really looked into it insurance really doesnt cover all that much when you think of what will actually happen out there in the trails like colliding with another rider...which they wont cover you btw....the only thing that insurance covers up here in canada is fire and theft...im not worried about either so i pulled my insurance plus i saved a $1000 a year...it just seemed like a waste of money...plus they always want the whole year paid in full...lets face it some people just dont have thousands sitting in their bank accounts...i know if my bike ever gets stolen ill have to worry about it but my bikes under lock and key...the rappy is the only thing i own that doesnt have insurance...

  10. i used the krylon fusion paint aswell the same colour scheme as you used but i used a gloss black not a flat check out my pic i think the gloss looks alot better than the flat...also if you use the krylon make sure NOT to use any clear coat of any sort as it will make the fusion paint bubble and peal
