250cc Utility 2008 New Style ATV HappyScooters for Sale

I currently have a 2008 rancher 420, and am looking for an inexpensive 250 just for playing around. It would be mostly used by friends when they come to visit. Any suggestions, comments, and concerns in regards to noname quads would be appreciated. Thanks.

the good thing is that its a 6ply tire u wont be worrying bout popping holes in the side walls like ur stockers which were probably a low rated ply right?

Yes, that will make all the difference in the world. I think the stock tires are only 2-ply.

Unfortunately they don't make the bighorns in my rim size. I really don't want to buy new rims.

What about the bear claw?

Yea, I found fronts, but not rears. I cannot find rear tires anywhere. I think I might have to get new rims. I hope not.

Here's the one's I am looking at. The next question is how do I know what size to get?

The only sizes in the BigHorns are:

25x10x12

25x8x12

Will these work on the existing rims? Thanks.

I have a 2008 Honda Rancher 420 with stock rims.

I blew holes in the sidewalls of two of the stock tires so I figure I better just get new ones.

Hi folks,

I am new to this forum and new to ATV's. I am currently doing my research and actively looking to buy a new ATV.

I am looking at the Rancher 420 4x4 and the Big Bear.

I think I am most interested in the Honda. I am planning to test ride it in the next week or so.

Also, I am looking for riders in the Northern Virginia (NOVA) area. I would be interested riding in WV, PA, MD, and VA (within about 0-3 hours of NOVA). I even travel to Western New York several times each year and would be interested in riding with people there.

Is $4799 a good price for a 2008 TRX420FM?
