I was looking through a bunch of pics on here. I noticed that people are doing crazy/stupid stuff with no gear on at all to protect themselves. I'm not a safety Na** by any means but I do know that I have crashed enough times to know the value of the gear I wear. I'm also guilty of doing crazy/stupid things; the difference is that I have something on to protect me when I do.

What are your thoughts?

GET A GRAB BAR! When you are learning wheelies it's almost a gaurantee that you will go back far enough to hit it a few times. It's even more likely when you decide to learn to shift with the front end up. Every quad is different when learning and I agree with everyone else. Practice, Practice, Practice!

I think you got bad info. They are still in buisness and still producing the tires. Just picked up another set. Cycle Gear sells them mounted on rims. Check their site

I just talked to the dealership here and he is still getting these tires in. They are not out of buisness

I have a 2004 KFX. I am throwing a white bros rd4 slip on for now. I know about the company already lol. I just got a screaming deal on it. My question is this:

From stock, how many jet sizes should I go up to get this thing to run correctly? Everything else is stock, engine wise at least.

Well, pulling the lid worked like a champ for about 4 hours lol. We got a cold snap in the afternoon and it needed to run a richer mixture so, it went back on and runs like a champ again. I'll just have to pull it back off when the temp comes up. Thanks for the help

I have a race Kart that I brought back from England with me that is now up for sale. I am unsure about the chassis manufacturer but the thing is nuts! It has a Iame 2 stroke 100cc rotary valve engine that according to a major race company over there should produce about 25 hp. It has a brand new piston and rings in it that hasn't even been fired yet. It has 2 sets of tires and extra plastics. It has rear hydraulic disk brakes and is push start only. You could always throw another engine on there with some small mods. If you want to see it run, just look me up on myspace. There is a video on my profile of it on the track. They make a 4 ply and 6 ply version of the same tire. I am running the 4 ply. I have run through some very rocky places and haven't had a sidewall issue yet. I also run on my property that has a lot of "goat heads" (like a big sand spur) and have had no flats

First let me say that I don't sell these things. I am just wondering about opinions.

I was in a shop in Vegas looking for some RAZRs and the guy talked me into trying the Innovas. I was very surprised that he didn't want me to buy the much more expensive Maxxis tires. I gave them a shot and I have to say that I'm impressed with them. I ride mostly in the desert on hard pack and some sandy areas and they seem to work very well. Does anyone else have a set? What are your opinions? I'm just thinking that they may be a great tire for someone on a budget.

I have a set of 20" Innova's ready to throw on it already. I was really surprised how well they worked and held up on my KFX so I bought a set for the Blaster. I have been working 12 hour shifts and get home when it's dark so, I haven't had a chance to pull the airbox lid just yet. I'm going to do it this weekend and see how it goes

Not sure how I killed the 302. I noticed it running rough on the even cylinder side. I checked compression and all but the #2 cylinder were good. #2 didn't make the needle on the gauge move. All valves are actuating fine. I think I got a hole in a piston somehow. It's an odd break. Still trying to find a scope to have a look inside. Sad part is that it runs great other than that. It hold 45 psi on oil pressure at an idle and never gets hot. I just don't want to risk more damage so, I'm finding out what's wrong before I run it again. Ok, hate to do this but I'll have to quit the thread hi-jack now. I'll start another thread about other offroad toys

They are a bit big for what I need but they'll do. After looking at that pic I realize how much work I still need to do on it lol

I went through school for welding, brother is a machinist and close buddy does sheet metal work. Should be good to go as soon as I get time

I used to fire about 1000 rounds of that stuff a week. After seeing what that stuff could do, I would S#&T myself if that happened to me. His head would have exploded like a watermellon if that actually hit him

It's apart at the moment to change the axles and suspension set up. It is sitting on Dana 60s, 6 inches of lift with a lot of trimming. 302 that just died on me, NP 435. 5.89 gears, 42" Swampers and Hummer Beadlocks

I haul mine with an 03 F-350 7.3 4 door lariet. I have a 69 Bronco on 42" Swampers that I play with too. I needed something that wouldn't have an issue towing the Bronco. It doesn't even feel a trailer full of quads behind it lol

I use one where it's required and some places that it's not. It's always on in the dunes (broke it earlier in the day in my pic) and on if I'm riding in an area where I can come up over a hill and get hit from somone coming the other way. The only place that I don't use it is in the woods. I got mine at a local shop in Vegas for about 14-15 bucks. It's just a plain flag with their logo on it
