I’ve finally solved the carb problem. I bought a VM series, universal replacement. This carb requires a good bit of work to adapt it to a quad that came with what I call a constant velocity carb, I don’t know anything about it other than what is shown above as it’s model #. I’d be happy to detail all steps necessary to install a VM, if anyone is interested. I don’t check this site very often, as I’d not had any responses to my issues. The VM, as far as tuning it to work on my quad, was not an extensive process, and it runs really well. The VM is old school, it ain’t built for economy or emissions, it’s built to run and run hard, and I’m thrilled with the performance.
