  1. I have often seen deer on many rides that I have been on. Last week I saw a very odd looking buck in southwestern B.C. The area I was in is well known for many Coastal blacktail deer. (kind of like a small mule deer) This is NOT whitetail country.. Well, I saw a small buck grazing near several does, but it was much, much lighter in color than the does. The antlers were also very light colored and had a main branch like a white tail. What made this so strange is that it had a black tipped tail like a coastal deer. Of course I didn't have a camera. Is it possible that I what I saw was a cross of different breeds?

  2. As a disabled rider, i was wondering if there is anyone else that hasn't let a disability stop them. Do you ride with someone who is disabled? What do you ride and what modifications were done to the ATV? What reaction do you get out on the trails?

For me, I ride a Grizzly 700 EPS. I am missing my right leg and I modified the right foot brake so that I can still put pressure on it to shift the transmission lever. I also wear a special "leg" just for riding. I still don't do anything too wild, but I am getting more confident on my machine.

  3. I live and ride in western Canada. I got into ATVing with the help of a friend in 2008. As a kid I use to ride dirtbikes, but I lost my right leg in 2004 just before my 16th birthday. I'm so glad to be riding again, even if it's on 4 wheels instead of 2.

  4. Hi everyone! I used to ride dirtbikes when I was a kid, even though I had alot of problems with my right leg. In 2004, after a bone infection in my knee, my right leg had to be amputated. I thought I would never ride off road again. After a friend convinced me to try an ATV, I was hooked! Soon after I was the proud owner of a Grizzly 700. I love getting out on the trails again! Hope to talk to you soon.

    Take care, A.S.
