why is it called that?

i was more worried about riding it out and not wreckin down the hillside. those type of scratches are more like a badge of honor. i show them off proudly
-
haha. yeah cause he has the full fender coverage on the ozark. (plus he says i always head straight for the puddles)
-
yea, i feel the need to get down there again soon. my butt is feeling better but the knee, not so much.
-
we try! whenever we can get a sitter (and when im not injured)

some private property between my neighborhood and the MO river in st louis.

how cute! reminds me of my little girl on her first quad
-
i know...i knew that was coming. this is the only time we forgot to bring the helmet. i swear! my parents said the same thing

yeah, this 50 does not have much power (probably a good thing for now) but going up even the smallest incline I have to hop off and help get it going. when she is on her own we will need something more powerful to get her back out of our woods - hills are too steep. for now we lower handlebars to get in the truck w camper shell
how old were your kids when they started? how old now?
-
she is getting better, but not quite ready to ride by herself. maybe after her 4th birthday we will start riding behind her with the teather to the kill switch
-
very lucky! and I am too...especially when my little girl greets me after work asking if we can ride!
love it
-
ouch! do u think they intentionally put the wire at that level?
-
now That looks Fun! i wanna do that

thanks guys! this pic does not give the amount of mud justice.
-
oh yea!

sounds like trail maintenance is needed

idk, it is typically a one way. this is at the end of hill-side jump; now known as Mt Ruppel- named after my friend Mark R. who past away there. at the top here, you have 2 turn around options to do it again, a straight up option (i have not attempted), or 2 or 3 down to the next trail or jump.

thank you...i guess i should have worded it, 'we Continue to ride here to keep his memory alive'
we all used to ride this area together. (not too far from my backyard) only a few would attempt this jump, and most ended up hurt (this only shows after the landing). actually, my husband has a titanium shoulder after wrecking here. we thought they would stop access after our friend's accident, but the family knew how much he loved riding and requested that the jump be fixed the right way. aside from fixing up the memorial; no one has worked on the lip or the landing, yet. not sure if they will.

thanks...so much fun

yes, sketchy

haha, i didnt even know there was such a thing. honestly, other than the fact that i break everything new and pretty i buy, im not that worried about it. if a person behind me cant figure out i am stopping or slowing down, they shouldnt be behind me.
i still have just as much fun on my bike!
yesterday i followed my husband on some hill climbs & trails i was alway too intimidated to go on by myself. he sometimes forgets that i am wider than his dirtbike, but i just chose to ram the smaller tree at the top of the ridge and luckily it bent over
